Not really true is it. JWP set him up with an unmissable chance in the first half yet he bottled it. Not for the first time either. -

Best you stay silent if this is all you can contribute. -
Why? Quite rightly the main focus is and should be on the Saints PL team, not on political correctness. When the ladies play in the comparable national women's league - Barclays FA Women's Super League - then they will deserve their moments in the sun. At the moment they are quite a long way off that goal. Remember too that the U23's get scant mention on here and the U18's virtually none at all.

Common sense at last. Most of the players out there today are perfectly well aware that they are now second choice in Ralph's preferred best XI so why would they be motivated to make an extra effort to impress as it would serve them no purpose. Once Ralph has a mindset it is very difficult to knock him off course. The time to impress is when players are called off the bench in a PL match not when forced to play in some second rate inconsequential knock-out competition which they have no chance of winning anyway. -

We still won 2-0 even if we were mostly crap and only beat p*ss poor teams. -

here's your answer Adam Corona was a brand of carbonated soft drink produced by Thomas & Evans Ltd in South Wales, and distributed across the United Kingdom. ... Corona was sold to The Beecham Group in the 1950s and subsequently to Britvic Soft Drinks, but stopped trading as a brand in the late 1990s. -

Dave & Adam slagging off most of our players now. Dread to think what they would say if we were losing. -

Hope the club are not charging entry fees for this disjointed shambles of a football match. -

JWP is certainly a survivor -
The signs are not good. We have our own example of Ricky Lambert's to gauge how well Adams should fare in the PL as opposed to the Championship. Ricky of course adapted very quickly to every levels at which he played. Goals in his first PL match (ManC - away) and his first appearance in a Three Lions shirt is testimony to that. Ricky is the benchmark and Che looks a poor second in comparison. He seems not to have the craft, guile or adaptability for the task that faces him. If Obafemi can show us a moment of magic in otherwise one-dimensional performances then surely Che Adams can show us something. You get runs in teams when you deserve them not because you happen to be on the books and somebody thinks you deserve a chance.

Ah! The extravagance of a new poster. Never mind you'll soon pick up the local language lad.
-
We'll soon find out the currency of being "one of our own". Local lad, comes home, makes good should result in him staying here forever.
-
Should be enough.

What we don't want to do now is shatter our newly restored self-belief by putting out a weakened team, giving away silly goals and then not being able to pull it back after bringing back our better players from the bench. OK give Danny a rest and maybe Redmond and Armstrong but otherwise stay unchanged McCarthy Cedric Bednarek Stephens Bertrand Hojberg Ward Prowse Boufal Djenepo Adams
-
He'll be staying put. Ralph loves him and Bertie. Strange how he's dome a 180 on thees two players having more or less sidelined him earlier in the season. I'd offer Cedric a two year contract to help us develop his eventual successor.

Best not to count too many chickens just yet.

The big question is what has changed in our backroom set-up 'cos sure as hell something has. It's not all about Ralph chaps
