  1. Even in the Itchen centre knee room is non-existent for a bloke of average height and build and woe betide you if you have fat guys either side of you. Seat encroachment seems unavoidable so its best to sit down before the rest of them to secure your own space. The concourse is a disgrace and the loos so primitive that H & S could shut the whole place down if they had a mind to do so.
  2. They've got to have a new whipping boy now that Cedric has decided that enough is enough. Step up to the plate Oriol. It helps that you're not a Brit of course.
  3. "We could see the bone" sounds a little more concerning than this despite the apparent sighs of relief around town this morning.
  4. It's what happens when players are in decline and their futures uncertain, they over-try and make themselves look like Grade A tits all at the same time
  5. Also because we have nobody else as cover!
  6. We're far too good now for Burnley to handle. The key will be our finishing so let's hope with the monkey off his back Ings can knock in a few more per match. I'll happily take 3-0 HT even if it ends up 3-2.
  7. He's a glass half empty bloke always. Best ignored.
  8. Love your optimism! Explain how we will be in a relegation scrap having already grabbed 31 pts with 36 likely to be the total needed to stay up.
  9. A pity but when will we learn that our lads will always be knackered after 60/70 minutes of our high intensity style of play? Once that happens concentration goes and the inevitable happens. Clever of Spurs to allow us to play high speed keep ball and run ourselves into the ground while waiting patiently to pick us off later. The lesson once again is that when we are dominant we MUST take our chances. We had plenty but once again our conversion rate is abysmal.
  10. Good to see Boufal start. Wish him all the best, time somebody scored a hat trick COYS
  11. 11 points is my guess, 3 wins 2 draws. We are an in form team on a roll, what's not to like. Don't worry, be happy!
  12. Purile! If that's the best you can do then say off the forum, moron.
  13. Maddox straight in. Future Redmond this lad
  14. We didn't lose because of VAR and the officials, we lost because we can't hold onto the ball, don't take our chances and were knackered after 60 mins chasing their shadows. They lasted longer than us and inevitably took the spoils simply because they did the exact opposite. We are good at huffing and puffing but our game management has some way to go before we will ever challenge the top teams.
  15. JWP is playing a blinder, he really wants this one. Let's hope he scores the winner.
  16. Future manager of Saints?
  17. Agree. He always seemed like a decent lad and always gave of his best. We should feel proud of what he has achieved as an international player as a Saint. Never understood the dog's abuse that he got on here when often he was our best player.
  18. Have you ever seen him play in person? From your consistently ridiculous assessments of Cedric, one assumes not.
  19. Very sad day as we say farewell to one of our most loyal, uncontroversial and committed Saints player's of all time and the UK leaves the European Union, both decisions that we will regret. Good luck Maya, hope we will see you back here one day.
  20. What one concludes from these shenanigans is that Ralph has more than an eye on next season. He seems to be gambling that we are safe from relegation now, needing three wins on paper but possibly only two in reality so might as well start preparing for next season while taking what we can from the remaining games of this. The club would never have considered the release of Cedric if we were still in a scrap at the bottom. Of course the bottom line is that it is a hell of a gamble to take especially if our form collapses after the break and Ralph panics and starts chopping and changing players again to try and halt a slide. Bad defeats at Anfield & White Hart Lane could trigger a tsunami!
  21. They are good. Simply too good.
  22. Great to have him on board. Welcome! How do we win in this situation? If the lad proves to be dynamite, Spurs will recall him no question. If they don't want him then it'll be a bidding war with all the London clubs. Let's hope he loves the rural lifestyle and is not attracted by the bright lights and will see his future here liking hiking and biking, Can't see it myself 'though.
  23. We play a very similar style to the Bindippers so maybe Ralph has been a very keen follower of Klopp's fashion. They will certainly not be taken by surprise by our aggressive in-their-faces style as they do exactly the same thing. This might come down to a match-up of quality, who can play keep ball longest and everyone as scared as **** to give it away at which Hojberg should excel. Might not turn out the way most expect, a draw is eminently possible 2-2 or 1-1 - it's hard to imagine them not scoring. First defeat for them this season is a pious hope 'though
  24. I like Tadic. He wanted to play more cultured football than the EPL hooligans allowed. I'll bet there are plenty of talented ball players like him around Europe who wouldn't dream of coming to play here for the same reason. Sod the money it's not everything. Best league in the world ? More like beastliest league in the world.
