  1. Well of course if he never gets picked to start then how the hell is he supposed to get up to the speeds that Hassenhütl is now demanding. Being fit is not the same as being match fit and not many out there last beyond 65 minutes which is why we concede so many goals so late on. Oppo's just wait until we are ****ged and then pick us off. Give the lad a chance FFS
  2. What a terrible mess and all of our own making. Somebody needs to sort this out once and for all. Let's hope Mr Crocker has a ruthless streak in him.
  3. Unbelievably, there is still no mention of his contract situation on this thread from anybody. I don't blame the mods at all.
  4. Simply because it was supposed to be about Mr Hasenhutl's contract situation but descended into a totally unrelated slanging match
  5. Why would any of our better players want to leave if Hasenhutl stays, where will they get a better deal unless one of the big clubs can guarantee them first team status. Careers end on benches and none of the players cited by the Telegraph seem to be in it just for the money.
  6. Gunn was considered good enough for Man City when they ruled the roost so it's a bit silly to write him off yet. Can't imagine Forster would want to come south again after the way he was treated here.
  7. I needed this winter break more than the players just to give my blood pressure a chance to stabilise
  8. Even in the Itchen centre knee room is non-existent for a bloke of average height and build and woe betide you if you have fat guys either side of you. Seat encroachment seems unavoidable so its best to sit down before the rest of them to secure your own space. The concourse is a disgrace and the loos so primitive that H & S could shut the whole place down if they had a mind to do so.
  9. They've got to have a new whipping boy now that Cedric has decided that enough is enough. Step up to the plate Oriol. It helps that you're not a Brit of course.
  10. "We could see the bone" sounds a little more concerning than this despite the apparent sighs of relief around town this morning.
  11. It's what happens when players are in decline and their futures uncertain, they over-try and make themselves look like Grade A tits all at the same time
  12. Also because we have nobody else as cover!
  13. We're far too good now for Burnley to handle. The key will be our finishing so let's hope with the monkey off his back Ings can knock in a few more per match. I'll happily take 3-0 HT even if it ends up 3-2.
  14. He's a glass half empty bloke always. Best ignored.
  15. Love your optimism! Explain how we will be in a relegation scrap having already grabbed 31 pts with 36 likely to be the total needed to stay up.
  16. A pity but when will we learn that our lads will always be knackered after 60/70 minutes of our high intensity style of play? Once that happens concentration goes and the inevitable happens. Clever of Spurs to allow us to play high speed keep ball and run ourselves into the ground while waiting patiently to pick us off later. The lesson once again is that when we are dominant we MUST take our chances. We had plenty but once again our conversion rate is abysmal.
  17. Good to see Boufal start. Wish him all the best, time somebody scored a hat trick COYS
  18. 11 points is my guess, 3 wins 2 draws. We are an in form team on a roll, what's not to like. Don't worry, be happy!
  19. Purile! If that's the best you can do then say off the forum, moron.
  20. Maddox straight in. Future Redmond this lad
  21. We didn't lose because of VAR and the officials, we lost because we can't hold onto the ball, don't take our chances and were knackered after 60 mins chasing their shadows. They lasted longer than us and inevitably took the spoils simply because they did the exact opposite. We are good at huffing and puffing but our game management has some way to go before we will ever challenge the top teams.
  22. JWP is playing a blinder, he really wants this one. Let's hope he scores the winner.
  23. Future manager of Saints?
  24. Agree. He always seemed like a decent lad and always gave of his best. We should feel proud of what he has achieved as an international player as a Saint. Never understood the dog's abuse that he got on here when often he was our best player.
  25. Have you ever seen him play in person? From your consistently ridiculous assessments of Cedric, one assumes not.
