If you get enough 'likes', sure. Who knows you might make a nice living at it ;-)

I fear we will lose him in the close season 'though. Use him or lose him. OK he gets paid well but time moves on and the lad wants and should have regular game time to show his talent. If he can't get it here there will be plenty of suitors in the PL to gave him chance; Palace, Villa & WHU come to mind. Sofiane is an incredible talent but there is something about him that RH seems not to like. Beats me as he is the only creative player we have who can beat his man on both sides. The way the ball sticks to his feet in a melee of players trying to stop him amazes me and OH that goal against WBA!

Indeed it is a cautionary tale as everything you post on-line can be read and used by anybody, anywhere. It is always worth bearing in mind that comments made on the internet can come back to haunt you. I note that the msn link included my own comment on the outcome of Saturday's match, which is fine as I stick by it

Quite a few familiar faces missing from training today.
-
Nothing to do with playing lousy football then? Had you considered that 4-2-2-2 just doesn't work against deep defending teams and that's what usually happens at SMS. All the crap about layers of filters, honestly if they just lob balls over the top for a lone striker to break away 100 bloody filters wouldn't work. We need to play a different system at home.

We usually win 3 or 4-0 so no worries at all. Routine match, bang 'em in.. end of.
-
Nothing to do with the fans, everything to do with sloppy defending and lack of creativity.
-
....which begs the question, then why did you bother to post it in the first place?
-
Well Billy, there is certainly a very large question mark over your judgement, Ralph will not be calling you for advice anytime soon.

Disappointed but on the day we never looked like we knew what we were doing. Lots of huffing and puffing but with wingers that always cut back inside rather than going past people on the outside there was never a hope of getting decent balls into the box. The middle was far too crowded to create clear cut chances yet we persisted in doing only that right up until the final whistle. Djenepo doesn't seem any better than Redmond in that respect. Surely it's time for Obafemi to show up, he gets so many chances to show his worth but only rarely does he create anything useful. I know Long gets a lot of stick but at least you can see that he is a wily old fox always thinking his way through the match whereas Obafemi just seems like a one-dimensional headless chicken. Adams is just plain lazy minded and is never quite up with the play.

Jack Cork, what the hell was that?

That's more like it, well done Ings

You are becoming a bloody misery, every entry from you does the Saints down.

What a fluke

Apparently, the new Chancellor was born in Southampton, went to Winchester College and is a life-long Saints fan; allegedly one of his main hobbies is attending Saints matches so we'll have to keep an eye open for him tomorrow. His greatest hero is Matt Le Tiss so take a bow big man! If he manages the economy with the frugality as the Saints board, UK finances should be in surplus for years to come despite Johnson's profligate borrowing ideas? Maybe he will be able to advise our board on how to spend beyond their means yet still balance the books!

When we lost the play off second leg at Derby a few years ago, the whole away support stood for the entire match just shouting Yellow... Yellow.. Yellow, throughout the match. Unfortunately my ticket was slap bang in the middle of that lot so I ended up deafened, knackered and in the trudge back to the car got soaked. Every time they shout Yellow the agony of that day comes flood back.

Unlikly Valery will get to start at RB, sensibly it should be between KWP and Danso but knowing RH he'll find a place for Vestergard and shuffle Stephens across.
-
Will Celtic have enough money to buy FF and ME in the summer? Maybe with bit of bargaining we can do a cut price deal on a joint transfer fee just to get their wages off our bill.
-
Let's surmise then that as RH is alleged to have said that he will discuss the Hoj contract once we have 36 points so it seems logical that the same applies to him. Hence we have heard nothing simply because we do not have 36 points. Maybe on 24th Feb when we have 37 points, talks will begin?
-
Well of course if he never gets picked to start then how the hell is he supposed to get up to the speeds that Hassenhütl is now demanding. Being fit is not the same as being match fit and not many out there last beyond 65 minutes which is why we concede so many goals so late on. Oppo's just wait until we are ****ged and then pick us off. Give the lad a chance FFS

Keeping Track of the Contracts 2024-25
Charlie Wayman replied to Over land and sea's topic in The Saints
What a terrible mess and all of our own making. Somebody needs to sort this out once and for all. Let's hope Mr Crocker has a ruthless streak in him. -
Unbelievably, there is still no mention of his contract situation on this thread from anybody. I don't blame the mods at all.
-
Simply because it was supposed to be about Mr Hasenhutl's contract situation but descended into a totally unrelated slanging match
-
Why would any of our better players want to leave if Hasenhutl stays, where will they get a better deal unless one of the big clubs can guarantee them first team status. Careers end on benches and none of the players cited by the Telegraph seem to be in it just for the money.

Gunn was considered good enough for Man City when they ruled the roost so it's a bit silly to write him off yet. Can't imagine Forster would want to come south again after the way he was treated here.
