Argos - £35. I think you have to reserve on their website and pick-up in a store to get that price. I usually hate Argos but they seem to be pretty good for games at the moment. It's been out a couple of months so you may find cheaper elsewhere.

...And that's only after promising to also take on the managers position in addition to his current job, regularly having to pick the ball out of his net.

Can't wait for this to start; is there a more tactical and inspirational sport around? Contador is a class above so fully expect him to excel in the mountains sufficiently to win. Would be great to see Wiggins do well again this year (it made a nice change to see a Brit doing so well in the overall classification last time).

You can find out additional information by buying newspapers in the game... I bought one for the first time after completing the storyline and it contained information on Landon.
-
Just finished the storyline missions. Very good ending. My only complaint is that many of the missions were very similar (ride on your horse, shoot a gang of bad guys in the countryside, ride home) - some more town shootouts would've added a bit of variety in my opinion. Otherwise a very enjoyable game.

Supposedly they're in the northeastern part of the map which is unlocked later on in the story... I'm at a similar stage to you so haven't met the grizzlies yet. Looking forward to taking them on!

Yep, that bit's great, pure carnage :-D

I've heard that when you trade it in at Game, the check isn't particularly thorough (i.e. they turn it on to check it's not dead and that's about it). I appreciate trading it in may not be 100% ethical as there's a chance someone could end up with your old knackered ps3, which they would then have to return.
-
You could try trading it in... as long as it works, I've heard Game will accept it as trade it - apparently they don't do a thorough check.

I've played a few hours - enjoying it but personally I don't think it's as good as GTA4. It's growing on me though the more I play - reminds me of Uncharted 2 with the graphics and gameplay. Sounds like a plan! I haven't ventured into multiplayer yet (want to get fully to grips with the game so I don't just get owned continually) but will be keen for this soon...

For anyone looking to pick this up today - you can reserve on the Argos website and pick it up instore for £34 on PS3 or £35 on Xbox. Stock looks pretty low in the stores I checked in London so get in there early.

Someone's done a comparison here: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=21355476&postcount=704 Xbox360 looks slightly better than PS3 but judging by the screenshots, I'm not sure it's really going to alter the experience that much...

I didn't think I was bothered about this (I've never been massively keen on Westerns) but it's got some pretty impressive reviews. Also, I've now just about completed Episodes from Liberty City and have loved GTA4 (which sounds very similar) so will probably give this a go...

The alternative view is that at the moment, the game publishers, developers etc don't see any of the money from second hand sales. This move would put people off purchasing second hand and so will buy new instead (or at least will ensure a little more money to the design/publishing team in terms of the multiplayer fee). Even if the money doesn't go directly to the developers, it will surely translate to larger game budgets in the relatively near future. I'm not saying I agree with EA's plans by the way, but it could possibly mean a better product if developers have larger budgets to play with. A price worth paying?

I believe Gaydamak invested in Canterbury (not alluded to in the guardian article)... I wonder how long until a similar discrepancy is found in Gaydamak's "personal loans".

Excellent statement; I'm now even more excited for next season. Hopefully with the barrage of comments on the Echo website, they get the message: http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/8163357.Saints_set_to_keep_Pardew/

Excellent, must mean he's good at this level.
-
Obviously very sad, RIP. What's the betting this ref gets promoted to League One for next season...?
-
Hopefully they do a similar promotion again soon! I guess it's good publicity for Betfair on faceboo, but it must've cost them tens of thousands of £££.
-
It's just let me do the same... fingers crossed the money appears in our accounts!
-
Cheers - was just about to post the same link!
-
Indeed :-) Apparently Betfair will message you on Facebook for your username and the wonga will be credited to your account within the next few weeks. I've just noticed in the T&Cs this... 6. You must have turned a volume of at least £100 on any of Betfair's products after the promotional credit was made before being able to withdraw the £50. I assume "turned a volume" means placed bets to the value of £100 and that the £50 won will be in your Betfair account, but that you won't be able to withdraw (reduce your Betfair credit to less than £50) until the £100 worth of bets have been placed? If this is the only catch, it doesn't seem too bad!

Down to 8 men now!

Unfortunately we can't catch them as we can only get to 76 points.
