I had the pleasure of being taken by a friend of mine whose company are a main sponsor of Wolves to the Wolves v Villa game on saturday. Due to being a big corporate client we were met by David Jones (wolves player) who confirmed that Drew is still out injured. During the game Drew was sat around 7/8 rows infront of us with a few of the other injured wolves players. I tried to get a word with him but unfortunately due to the greedy/thirsty bastards trying to get back up to the corporate suites was unable to get to him before he disappeared to the players lounge. I dont think Wolves have paid the money they did to have him go back out on loan after his injury Mick McCarthy will give him a chance even if its on the bench using him as a utility player.

I know Matt Le Tiss has just bought a house in the North Baddesley area, so maybe he is busy moving in and settling down etc??

Have Pinnacle called the Football League's bluff? With Pinnacle pulling out and laying the blame with the football league, were they hoping the FL would publicly deny this is the case? Now they could re-emerge knowing that the FL have made that statement and wont be able to back track. thoughts? I'm not saying this is what I think will happen or indeed what I want to happen but just a thought.

I think the problem is if we sign to say SFC is in admin then we get hit with another -15 thus starting the league with -25 points.

what they actually said was that if the players aren't paid tomorrow then they can claim breach of contract and would be free to sign for another club. Basically meaning if players aren't paid tomorrow they might as well all be free agents. Its still the everyday stadium staff that i feel sorry for

yep well the commentary is, to be honest its the only reason I subscribe to Saintstv, living in the west midlands and haveing 2 kids (another on the way) i cant afford to get to all the games so religiously listen to all games i cant get to on there

So what happens to the people that live outside of the area that have already renewed their subscription (for most of next season) to saintstv.com purely for online commentary??? will they just do a deal with Solent or what??

As a family relation (distant) i can confirm that yes he was/is a Saints fan. As the family folklore goes Ben wasn't the most amused when Hoddle quit Saints and took over Spurs when Ben was playing there, he told Hoddle that he was a Saints fan and jokingly (although he did mean it) called Hoddle a Judas although, he didnt find it funny and they never got on. When Ben was sold to Leicester he was highly critical of Hoddle in the press. And of course it happened to be a coincidence that it was playing against Pompey that Ben was involved in that infamous tackle on Pedro Mendes. Dont know what all the fuss was about looked like a fair shoulder barge to me....................(joke. no excuse. thug.)

Weren't we turned down for a work permit for Maxi Lopez who went on to play for Barcelona. The 4 recent ones that spring to mind straight-away are Brian Howard, Wade Elliott & Scott McDonald and Vokes

This was my initial reaction as well, are we 100% sure that this is him and not someone who is posting pretending to be him, its not like we haven't seen hoaxes before is it!!!
