  1. That's .2 better than I thought. Things are looking up!!
  2. Fastest goal and fastest hatrick. It will be hard to beat either of them. This season is a writeoff. The failure to back Ralph with a decent striker is where this all started. Several managers and seasons later, we are still in the same position.
  3. FFP says no on that one I'm afraid
  4. The world's best manager couldn't get 20 goals from Armstrong, Archer and Tall Paul combined. We are 100% relegated already. Feel free to qupte me on that at the end of the season!
  5. A pontless sacking. Whoever replaces him will be relegated and likely be sacked as well in Summer. Should've saved the money (that we don't have) and waited till Summer.
  6. Even though I think he deserves the sack, I think he would get us promoted and play good football in the Championship next season. We are doomed anyway, we don't have the firepower to stay up. Save the money on sacking Martin now, spend the time making a plan for somebody else and then sack him a day after we win promotion next year.
  7. I expect Martin to dip into the under 21s this weekend to try to find a keeper who can play out of the back.
  8. If they were going to disallow the goal anyway because Armstrong tried to play the ball, why the fuck did they spend 5 mins trying to work out if Archer was offside? Total cunts
  9. Fing disgrace of a VAR. Anybody who has played will tell you that was not a foul. If anything it was a foul by the defender. The Premier League is not football, I'm looking forward to the Championship.
  10. I really want to see that again as well. How high up the leg was the contact?
  11. And at the other end that is a pen and a red card. Raya took out a Bournemouth player 1 on 1. Penalty given but not even a yellow. The justification from the refs were that the penalty was punishment enough. When have you ever seen a player given a red for a shirt pull in the box? The ref was fixed today. VAR is equally suspect. Nothing will be done but the whole thing stinks. If you were going to fix a Prem. game, this would be a great one to do. Leicester weren't favourites so the odds were decent but they could easily win with a bit of help from the ref.
  12. That game was fixed.
  13. Downes was top drawer today. I watched him all second half. He constantly stamped out turnovers in midfield, dominated his opposite number, giving the defence the cover it has needed. On top of that, every pass he made was successful, every single one.
  14. Not at all. VAR run competently (for fouls) is still subjective, you just move the decision to somebody in a box rather than the onfield ref. They'll still be arguing about if a VAR decision was correct on MOTD. VAR for offside has reached the level of pedantry IMHO. If a VAR ref needs more than 30 seconds and requires lines to be drawn on screen, either stick with the onfield decision or give the benefit of the doubt to the striker. VAR has ruined some of enjoyment I get from going to games. It feels like a weight of my shoulders this season tbh. VAR has required stupid changes to the handball rules & offside rules. People sitting on their sofas love it, I bet the majority of fans who go to games would now prefer it to be scrapped.
  15. Never got a fair shake from the manager or fans. He causes panic in the oppo box and is well capable of 15+ goals in this division. Even though it's against our manager's style, the fact is we are desperate for an outlet for a long ball at times, not having that option even on the bench is ridiculous at any level. I'd be happy to have him back.
