  1. Re the OP, I think if it can be done (regardless of whether the police etc have said no previously), then it would be a sensible idea to get a mass of home fans behind that goal. I would agree with some of the above though that the away fans need to be kept close as that is part of the attraction with sitting in the Northam/Itchen. I hope they know they will have to have other ideas to generate a better atmosphere as well as this - as per ericb above turning a blind eye to "persistent standing" for example, because doing it will not automatically create more noise but if nothing else it would remove the boost that the away fans give their team when they attack that end, particularly in the second half.
  2. Alassane Pléa from Nice? Wasn't he linked to us last season as well?
  3. I think it also says that the cost when refunded comes off of your ST renewal next season
  4. Is that Danny Welbeck at the back...
  5. Has this been added to the Vitesse website recently or has it been there the whole time: Fans of Southampton FC can only buy tickets for the away-stand section. Please check the official website of Southampton or details about the tickets. Dutch supporters of Southampton FC need to buy their tickets at the official club channels of the English Premier League club.
  6. Rasiak vs Derby by a mile for me, not sure why either as there have been some much bigger goals but the whole evening was such a roller coaster that it made it that much more incredible when it went in so late. Still get goosebumps seeing the away end a blur of yellow from the Sky cameras when it's played back!
  7. http://www.squawka.com/news/reports-from-france-schneiderlin-is-close-to-joining-man-utd-not-arsenal/387905 Seems the links to Twitter at the bottom show how close he is to going to Old Trafford!
  8. I don't like Richards technically for the role we would need him. Clyne and Bertrand are both excellent crossers of the ball 90% of the time and I wouldn't trust Richards to follow suit. He always came across as more of a man-mountain rather than technical. As above, Trippier took Burnely's set-pieces and put in some terrific crosses first-half and would be a perfect replacement for Clyne, especially with progression possible here like Clyney
  9. Taken from his website (http://officialjayrodriguez.co.uk/index.php/blog-news/38-new-boots) on 6th Feb he wrote: "I've not been on my blog lately as I have been working harder than I think I have ever worked in the gym making sure I get 100% fit and come back to football even stronger! I signed a new deal with Adidas and the picture is of my new F50 boots which I'm buzzing about using. Training is going really well now and I'm working 6 days a week so I can get back with the lads as quick as possible as they’re flying at the moment and there is a real buzz about the club from everyone involved at Southampton. I'm really working hard to get fully fit and playing this season and I will keep you all updated with my progress." Either it's gone really badly since then or it's just gone quiet and we are worrying for no reason. Signing a new deal with Adidas and training 6 days a week is a good indication that he's heading in the right direction, for me anyway.
  10. Yeah I wasn't sure about the fourth line but it was the only thing I could think of that fitted well enough for us to be able to sing, that is perfect... Let's get it going!!!
  11. 'For the Rickie Lambert role' maybe then? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I came up with something similar for Pelle: Ohh Graziano Italiano From Feyenoord Brought him to the club for the centre forward role Give him half a chance and he'll stick it in the goal Ohh Graziano...
  13. Would love to see Bony here, 17 Premier League goals in his first season...
  14. Lallana not an accomplished AML?
  15. Viva Osvaldo would work perfectly - just need lines 3 and 4...
  16. In answer to the original question, I think his talent on the ball and with deliveries will become even more accomplished as he goes on, and although more diminutive than anyone else in our midfield, agree with the Scholes comparison very much. Billy Sharp song anyone? Works perfectly with his name and would be good to get a song for another of our academy lads as well
  17. To the Tadanari Lee tune: Victor Wanyama, Victor Wanyama Got him from Celtic, Agent is a pr1ck Victor Wanyama
  18. I recently attended the FIWC Grand Finals in Madrid and I have to say the standard is unreal. It's a PS3 only tournament, but has 2.5million players at the start and he winner takes home $20k and two tickets to the Balon d'Or. The winner was a French Professional gamer. I managed to get a game in against the Italian champion Mattia who was Lazio and I went with Bayern. He beat me 2-1 thanks to Neuer but you can see why they are so good. Nearly every single one of the 21 finalists were Real Madrid playing 4-2-3-1 and altered everything in the tactics screen and build up etc. If you guys think your good enough, keep an eye out for the FIFA Interactive World Cup seasons next year and see if you have what it takes.
  19. I thought Morgan had a song now?
  20. Can those of you watching please sum up what is said on here for those not able to view
  21. It depends what your pre game and half time team talk were as to how well they react to what you say afterwards
  22. Having this problem in career, go to press continue and have to reset the whole system. EA are going to put out a patch to fix but no timescale yet.
  23. First season? How much were Olsson and Butland? What level do you play on Mike?
  24. Gaston, Gaston Ramirez run down the wing for me! heartbeat tune/Maxi Rodriguez tune
  25. Lallana said on Take it like a fan from Monday night that he shouldn't be out for more than a week.
