Who will you support if Saints go really under ?
S4INT replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
********, if Saints go into league 1 then I'll still support them... the season ticket will be cheaper. Saints will not go into administration under Lowe, we'll just be ****. But hey what am I gonna do... go and support Pompey? Nah -
Sweepstake on the amount of people that actually turn up tonight?
S4INT replied to saints_is_the_south's topic in The Saints
I'm coming down from London on my own. My dad can't come and I've got two tickets if anyone else wants ;] Come on...it's only a bit of snow! -
Indeed, I was wondering whether it might free up a CB to play at full back...
-
Some guy they obviously liked the look of from the behind-closed-doors friendly. I wont argue with no one out and improved strength in defence...
-
That received an official S4INT lol
-
...I lol'd DRAW WIN LOSE DRAW (just made those up at random but = 5 points)
-
Of course, and I hope that that is what everyone wants. Surely the team staying up must take priority over everything else?
-
Dan Le Sac peutetre?
-
Just as long as he doesn't play against us
-
WOULD LIKE TO START A THREAD BUT CAN'T... would appreciate it if someone else did for me... If we win at Norwich, will you support Wotte against Swansea? Or will he be booed by default?
-
I think we'll fare better under Wotte (but I'm only saying this so that if I'm right I get all the credit and am lauded as a genius). :] As always I'll get behind the manager for now. COYR (One thing though... aren't we the only club in the whole world who never benefit from the "new-manager first game victory"? Otherwise, with the number of managers we've had recently we'd be challenging for top 4 in the Prem. )

I can only echo most of the sentiments above, everyone who met Jan seemed to say that he was a very friendly guy. Maybe we should just have him as our away team manager? ;]

lol@hiscontinuedplayingofBaleatleft-backinthePremiershipalso...

Davis James-Perry-Saeijs-Molyneaux Homes-Gillet-Schneiderlin-Skacel Lallana Saganowski Subs: Bialkowski, BWP, McKlaggon, Gobern, Smith We can't play with two central attacking midfielders otherwise the back four are totally exposed, I rate Gillett to fill the role of defensive midfielder that I think we need.

That couldn't be much worse...

Would you BOYCOTT? Ways to get rid of Lowe and the board
S4INT replied to Wes Tender's topic in The Saints
TBF he was probably staying away so that the crowd wont direct their anger towards him during the game and will instead get behind the team. He just distracts the support during a game... ... ... yes I know! -
I agree with everything you say. For the first time ever, I'm not saying stick with the incumbent (I've always seen constant chopping and changing of managers as very detrimental). I'm not even particularly anti-Lowe, I think he becomes somewhat of a scapegoat. But your match summary is what I saw, and I agree with your conclusions. We have to get someone new in, and a striker back from loan; I just pray that we can afford it. I'm not that bothered whether or not Lowe stays, I think he's doing a decent job financially and is probably stabalising something that was looking pretty awful, then again, with the rest of the fan-base so against him I don't know what to think any more. However, I'm only 17 and have not seen the glory days that so many have, they have seen such a big fall and I have not, they probably know better than I do

The Beautiful Game is now firmly in the land of the fairies

Firstly, just make a new top rate of tax to 70% or something. Secondly, if this happens and Manchester City mess this up somehow and get relegated I will laugh forever... They're so foolish to buy one £135m player when they could buy an entire immense defence and do well in the league! Anyway I agree with a lot of what's been said, sure I can understand that there is demand and so players will be expensive, and some VERY expensive. But the price being suggested for Kaka is ridiculous. I'd never want Southampton to be bought by someone who would spend money like that. What do the real Manchester City fans thing, if there are still any left!? Football needs to be careful with it's debt embroiled(sp?) future... -
I'd lol

Seeing a win at St. Mary's this season... I'm afraid I am going tomorrow :/
-
He's really not all that great a left-back, certainly not at Premiership level anyway...
-
Thanks, I like the sound of him already :]
-
That's as may be... but what did he say!?
