Dont fancy our chances at all. PNE sold Sean St. Ledger to Boro and Trotman would be fit to slot straight in to their side once his loan ends. I'd lve us to sign him, he's exactly what weve needed for years but I'm sure he will go back to Preston unfortunately.

Get in there. The lads a class act. I hope he remains fit. If he does I reckon we've got a good chance of sneaking a play off spot. Come on Saints!!!

Are you saying McGlaggon is then? http://www.zimbio.com/pictures/D1K_t4i6VRv/Southampton+v+Sheffield+United/aUV6ccQ6XWQ/Kyle+Naughton

Big? AND strong? You sure? He's quick and direct, I'll give you that but as for big and strong, hes a carbon copy of Nathan Dyer mate.
-
I hope not. He's on Southampton FC's payroll. He's the coach of the Saints U12 side that my nephew is part of. Doing a good job too. We beat Charlton 4-1 on Sunday and drew 2-2 away to Arsenal a few weeks ago.

Hopefully Pardew can play with Cox up the middle, making late thrusts into the box.

I saw the U-18's play against Chelsea at the weekend. What a great game. We've got some good kids on our books. Preen looks quality as does our right back, cant remember his name. Quite short but stocky, looks like hes got a bit of strength about him. The mixed race kid in the middle is obviously a talent also but has one hell of an attitude on him that needs slapping out. Some cracking goals in a 4-3 victory. Good to see Drew Surman up there watching as well.

Any London Saints about, I'll be calling Famous 3 Kings in West Kensington later. If they are showing it I'll post an update. I'm aware the game is in London before people start to crow. I've just booked a holiday and am saving pennies for spending money!

To be fair, its not as if they'd be breaking up a winning formula. I'd definitely go for Waigo and Jaidi providing they are fit enough. Whilst I'm at it, I liked the look of Holmes when he played last year as well. I think he'd be a better option than Mills seeing as we desperately need a win. My side at the moment providing every one is fit and firing on all cylinders would look something like; ------------------Davis---------------------- Murty-----Trotman-----Jaidi----------Harding --------------------------------------------- ----James-------Hammond-------Holmes------ --------------------------------------------- ------------------Lallana--------------------- --------------------------------------------- -----------Lambert-----Waigo--------------- Lallana is probably one of the most talented players in this division. It is no good nullifying him by playing him in a position he is "average" at or "can do a job" in. The team should be played around him. He's not an out and out forward and he's not a winger. Get him in the space behind the forwards and let him cause havoc. I reckon that team, in this division would win a lot more games than it would lose.

Football player in 'giving something back' shocker. Jesus, even though I know most of you are joking it is a sad indictment of the way the world is today that we think if a grown adult does something remotely kind to a random kid he has to have some ulterior motive. I'd like to think if I was in a similar position, I'd do something similar like buy a kid a pair of football boots. Waigo is probably already a legend in this kids eyes without even seeing him play, the world needs more people like that.

I'm a keen chess player, or was I should say. I can lay claim to never winning a single game. No matter who I played against. I bagged a few stale-mates but never actually beat someone so I stopped playing when I was about 14! Fair play to her! Beginners luck or natural talent?

At least it would stop him scoring against us! I like him. Not the most cultured player but got a bit of pace and strength. Always makes our defence panic. Saying that, drizzle makes our defence panic so its probably not saying much but I'd take it. -
My Dad went to Wembley a few years ago to watch Newcastle in an FA Cup final. He got talking to a group of Bournemouth fans on the train back down to Southampton. They told him "in Bournemouth, we call Southampton fans 'Scummers'... what do they call us?" He replied "to be honest, I dont think they've ever really thought about you!"

Arsene Wenger has been playing him on the wing for Arsenal in order to round his game more. He did the same wth Thierry Henry and when the time is right he will move him up front. Every player in the Arsenal team can play in two positions. This is exactly why he is playing on the right at the moment and not scoring the amount of goals everyone thought he would be. He is still one of their most important and popular players.

To be fair I think I'd rather lose after 90 than after extra time. I dont want that as an excuse when we lose again in League One next week, that we were knackered because of extra time against Brum.
