Dont I feel silly. My nephew plays for the Under 12's not the Under 13's. Sorry Georgie... I'm sure your judgement on those lads in the 13's is sound!
-
No player called Olly in the 13's and out of the whole XI the left back and the striker (who is the smallest player in the team!) are probably the weak links although I feel a bit guilty saying that given their ages. The tallest players in the side are probably the 2 centre backs. Under 13's won 2-0 though.

Yeah I saw that. Lallana has got something like ADZ L20 as well. Nice Range Rover Sport.

I think generally our home support is relatively good compared to most but I did happen to think we were pretty quiet yesterday and didnt seem too prepared to engage in any banter with the Swindon fans until we had that 2 goal cushion.

Was up at Staplewood today watching my nephew play for the under 13s against Reading. On the pitch behind me the squad minus the starting XI yesterday were involved in a game being overlooked by Wilkins. A few tasty challenges going in, was good to see the players training at such high intensity. The starting XI then walked over having been to the gym. Was good to see Alex OC, Lambert and Jaidi in particular paying close attention to the game my nephew was involved in. I noticed about 20 minutes later Nigel Adkins was standing a few yards away to my left watching the game as well. He only stayed for 10 minutes or so but it was good to see the manager of the club taking an interest in the kids. Paul Williams is my nephews team coach. Great to see such a model pro involved still with the club despite his relatively short association as a player with us. He's really vocal and the kids all love playing for him. My god he's a unit these days though!

The difference between Southampton and Brighton...
sambosa75 replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
I think it is more to do with the fact that every club in this division including Brighton see playing Southampton either home or away as their Cup final. The way the Carlisle manager recently spoke in such awe about the club and how well they were treated when visiting SMS on a scouting mission says it all. Is it any wonder sides manage to raise themselves so often against us? Brighton are a good side, with a good manager who play good football and fair play to them. I am pretty confident in saying though that players from other sides will find it much easier to motivate themselves for a game against us that they would against little old Brighton in their sh*thole stadium. They better pray they win promotion this season because the minute they move in to their shiny stadium, all that will change. -
TDAJFU or Playerpedia... you could then start a franchise for all clubs... good little earner there... no need to thank me.

Got to start giving Martin more of a look in.

Who do you think is the hardest on this forum?

They never forget. Be careful next time you start your car. -
There is nothing Chelsea can offer at that level that we already cant. Other than being even further from the first team.

He's done a great job spending Daniel Levy's money. He's a good motivator, I'll give him that but my god hes spent some money.

So basically we are looking for a keeper who can jump?

Amazed Joey Barton isnt in there. He has been the best midfielder in the country for most of the season. I couldnt care less about his off the field antics, on the field he is class. Good shout on Albrighton too.

Some clown on Facebook who started a group about naming a stand after Markus that I joined is claiming Doble's off on loan to the skates and we are signing Mike Williamson from Newcastle. I should coco....

Saints might be the biggest club, but do Pompey have the best fans?
sambosa75 replied to dune's topic in The Muppet Show
Cant really argue with crowds of 45,000+ in the Championship or merchandise sales though can you? -
Pretty sure the likes of Gibson, Fletcher, Evans, Fabio, Rafael, Macheda, Cleverley (on loan to Wigan) and Biram Diouf (on loan to Blackburn) have won more silverware collectively than Arsenals "kids". Just saying, Fergusons record of bringing on youth isnt too shabby either.

Pretty sure McQuoid got a nasty injury on his first day at training for Millwall which is why he's not playing.

Le Tissier Snubbed ticket for United game ?
sambosa75 replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
So by some peoples logic if I was a successful luxury yacht salesman for 20 years, when I come to retire I should simply be given a luxury yacht, no questions asked? The fact is Le Tissier lost a lot of face over the Pinnacle debacle but from what I've seen/read he still fails to recognise this. He then goes public a number of times criticising Cortese when in actual fact his actions have been vindicated by our improvements on the pitch over the last couple of months. I'm a huge fan of MLT for his contribution to the club but just because 9 of his mates fancy a day out watching ManYoo it doesnt mean we should be rolling over to his every whim. -
Not sure what the lead singer of Coldplay would give us to be honest. Mine would be; Lionel Messi Cristiano Ronaldo Xavi Andres Iniesta David Villa I'm not sure where Guly or Lallana would fit in but its the price you pay for having such a competitive squad I suppose.

Disagree with this. Marsden actually did have pace in short bursts. He wasnt rapid but certainly wasnt slow. He also had a fantastic engine as well. Dont reckon he was under rated at all. Him and Bridge provided one of the best left flanks in the league under Strachan.

BBC Final Score is so unbelievably sub-standard compared with Sky.
