Anyone been? Just booked a holiday for me and the enemy on that Voyage Prive website. Looks pretty decent, 5* hotel, 3 swimming pools, private beach etc.. but was very much an impulse purchase so haven't done a great deal of research on the area. Anyone been? Any advice/tips from people with experience of the area would be most appreciated. Cheers! Sam(bosa75)

Still takes a massive amount of effort to get a doughtnut against Nadal. It's still worth ranking points that Nadal would have wanted but yes, it is likely he would have put up more of a fight in a major. Murray knows this though and doesn't get carried away, which I admire.

I did a stint as a "bellman" when I first moved to London, although it's called Luggage Porter over here. I've never earnt so much money. In the summer, the Al-Maktoum and Al-Thani families would each take a whole floor at the hotel and sometimes I used to be able to make a months wages in a day. It was insane. Used to see their limo pulling in to the drive way and it was a race to get to the limo with the other porters every time. Open their door - £20. Take the shopping out of the boot on to the luggage cart - £20. Take luggage up to room - £20. They used to go shopping about 4 or 5 times a day. I once took the Sheikh's wifes bag to her room after it had been lost at their airport and was tipped £200. I got promoted to concierge shortly after and would have made a career out of it aside from the crap hours. Concierge is a great job and being a luggage porter is the easiest way in to it.

Could be, but the again he might have a sister too and she might be fit as well...

No offence mate but your sister is quite tasty.

As you turn up to every game already in colours, jesters hat and face paint, don't you think the foam hand is a tad too much?

Probably why TDD is so against signing him, given his soft spot for Argyle and their current predicament...

Stitched them up a treat in all honesty. He was offered a contract verbally but his current contract stipulated the contract offer needed to be backed up in writing by a certain date and it never was which meant his agent could start touting him around. Newcastle showed some interest and obviously offered him a better contract than he was getting at Everton so he left on a free! Because Everton poached him from Plymouth only a year earlier they couldnt get any compensation but it did stitch Plymouth up who had a hefty sell on clause in his agreement with Everton which was obviously negated the minute his contract expired.

A bit like Adel Taarabt without the temper tantrums

Yeah lack of pace has really held the likes of Scholes, Lampard, Iniesta, Xavi, Zidane and Le Tissier back over the years. I have stopped reading in to Arsenal and the fact that they signed Walcott and AOC. They and Arsene Wenger are not the same proposition as they once were. People said "you can't defend against pace" until Mourinho came to England and introduced us to the 4-5-1/4-3-3 formation which gives pacy wingers less time and space to run in to. I totally disagree with your thoughts on pace. It's an old school view. Passing ability and close control should be infinitely more important than all-out pace and we will continue to lag behind the likes of Spain, France, Germany and Brazil until we realise it. Don't forget a quick player can run 40 yards in around 5 seconds. A great passer can get the ball there in 1 second. -
Totally agree. I was going to mention that when I brought it up but didn't just in case it was only me paying attention!

Seem to remember you saying something similar when we signed Danny Fox...

Makes sense but after a day on the sauce, nothing beats entering the ground with blind, drunk optimism and wacking a tenner on Saints to win 5-1 and Kelvin Davis to score the first.

Gosling has great potential. I think his versatility could be an asset as he can play at right back, centre mid and right mid. True, probably not a priority in terms of the positions he plays but surely worth a look if a player of his calibre is available?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2045322/Doncaster-ready-pounce-Dan-Gosling-Newcastle-release-midfielder-loan.html Could be a great signing. Was very promising in his early days at Plymouth and Everton. Showed a lack of class in leaving Everton for Newcastle in the circumstances he did and has had an injury nightmare but he's an excellent player, member of the England Under 21 set up and capable of playing in a number of positions. Could be a good 6 month signing in my opinion. DYTHCDAJFU?

Don't know why I typed that. Obviously meant fake tan!

Have met her before and its actually quite a sound girl. Gets involved with the banter and gives as good as she gets. As someone else said, she seems to put her all in to whatever she decides to do and that should be commended. That said, for someone with a background in glamour modelling, I'd expect her to be able to apply fax tan a bit more effectively than she appears to in this pic.

Not really a huge fan of half time entertainment but did anyone reading this thread see the entertainment at Leicester away? They had a relay race of 6 saints kids and 6 Leicester kids running around the perimeter of the pitch. It was actually very funny and the first time I have seen the whole crowd properly get into the entertainment.

I beg your pardon...

It's been proven that making something illegal doesn't stop people doing it. If anything it simply encourages people selling it to cut it with cheaper, potentially more harmful substances to increase their profit margins. Not that I'm massively in to the whole "scene" any more but I'd have much rather bought a clean pill and spent £20 on it then take a gamble from some matey in a club for a fiver. Same with charlie, I'd have rather paid £80 for a gram of top, u**** stuff then gamble on paying £40 for some thing you didn't know what was it in. If the government legalised it and regulated the quality, they could get away with charging a lot more than what you can get it for from some bloke on the street.

Fill Merse with a few g's of charlie and let him loose.

Pretty sure it was Huddersfield we fended off and not Sheff Weds...

All valid points and from a health perspective legalised drugs would not be cut with other chemicals far more damaging that the actual narcotics themselves. A few months ago I was round a mates house and he was banging on about this legal high he had bought called AMT which I had no interest in trying. Eventually I succumbed, just to shut him up and had a tiny amount in a bomb thinking it would take effect for a few minutes, wear off and then I could tell him it was sh!t and we could move on with the night. I was tripping and absolutely spannered for over 24 hours just from this tiny amount. Believe me when I say I'm not exactly a light weight. The fact that this stuff would not wear off for such a long time and is legal, yet mushrooms give you a funnier, quicker buzz and are illegal was a massive wake up call.

you little beautiful... lets have some champagne football now and get that goal difference up!!

If we can keep winning 3 out of every 4 home games and get 4 points from every 3 away games, we'll be alright.
