Yes I do. I’m fairly confident any new manager wouldn’t persevere with the style of play we currently have. I’m confident they’d be happy to sacrifice a bit of possession to get us further up the field and present more of a goal threat. There are small changes that could easily be made to the way we play that would make us more difficult to beat but Martin is too stubborn to accept it. I think you are somewhat overhyping Potter’s achievements at Chelsea. He was an abject failure there despite their performance in Europe and will need to prove himself somewhere. I haven’t exactly seen any big clubs desperate to hire him since then, have you?

Well that’s bollocks in my opinion. Moyes would have us set up to be more difficult to beat. Potter might fancy a crack too and will feel like he’s got something to prove.

The Stephens sending off today is going to force his hand there as well which will surely be a good thing.

I’d say the likelihood of having a few more points on the board by virtue of having a more competent keeper in the team throughout the course of the season is high. Regardless, I’m also confident we wouldn’t have won the play-offs with Bazunu in goal either. Luckily we’ll never need to know if I’m right or wrong. All that matters is we are up and he had already proved he is not equipped for the PL.
