If ever there was a player nailed on to end up in Turkey, it was Lemina.

Last time I looked he was wearing the captain's armband at Wolves. Someone's obviously seen some leadership ability in him.

I've personally thought for a while bringing Jordan Henderson back to the prem would be a masterstroke for a club like us. His leadership would do wonders for our team. That said, I thought bringing Lallana back was a good decision too but its clear his legs have completely gone which is a shame.

In fairness, if Lemina were still with us now, he would be our best midfielder by quite some distance. Shows just how far we have declined the past few years.

Need to cut our losses with Adam Armstrong in the PL. He is awful and offers us literally nothing. Archer has proven he’s got a goal in him and with some polishing and regular game time, could improve. I think Tall Paul is an abomination of a player but his big, natural awkwardness does seem to cause confusion and would in theory give the side a focal point and a physical presence. Either have to be better options than Armstrong now.

£70m?!? For all his talent, the lad has 1 goal and 0 assists to his name in the PL this season. We’ll barely get half that fee.

That’s the best news I could have hoped to wake up to. Now to rid ourselves of Ankerson and bring in common sense football people to get this club back on the right track.

Cooper doesn’t strike me as someone who’s going to come in, shake things up and get the players behind him. I’m surprised he seems such a popular choice, just because he’s got recent PL experience, one of which is an unsuccessful spell at one of our relegation rivals.

Why would we wait until Monday? Either he is sacked or he isn’t. Seems a bit pointless to wait until Monday to make an announcement.

I think there’s a player in Archer. He’s fed off scraps for the main part. If we got the ball into the forwards more often, and quicker, he’d be on the end of a lot more chances. He’s got a good finish on him, bar penalties.

Let’s get real here. He was proper shit last season. Other than Larios, by far the worst signing we’ve made from City or Chelsea’s academy. Just because he’s doing okay on loan in the league below doesn’t automatically mean he should be brought back and put straight in the side.

Time for a change. Couldn’t even trouble the opposition keeper once in a relegation 6 pointer.
