I was going to say this. The same Fulham where the average property price is around £3m. Oh no, give me Hedge End any day of the week!

Anyone know what Leicester got from their last 19 games last season?

Any iPad friendly streams knocking about?

Tottenham build up thread ...a question posed

Really hate this phrase. Same as 'worldie' and using the word 'beans' for post. Coined by the mugs on Soccer Saturday. Sadly even MLT gets involved. -
Can Southampton become a force in the premier league?
sambosa75 replied to Soulful Odin's topic in The Saints
It is my opinion based on our transfer outgoings the past 3 summer transfer windows. I don't think we are about to change approach now. Wanyama is unsettled and angling for a move every time the window opens. With his contract running down, this summer will be time to re-sign or time to cash in. Given his tantrums so far, I'd say we are more likely to cash in than get him to sign a new contract. I hope I am wrong. Top player on his day. Mané had his head turned at the end on the last summer transfer window with the Man Utd rumours. Apparently Bayern Munich and Dortmund are sniffing about too. We won't turn down big money IMO. Especially after his inconsistent showings this season. -

Wanyama and Mané will be leaving. The sooner people get their heads around this, the better. No point being shocked and angered when it happens. We'll miss Victor but Mané has been largely anonymous for long periods this season. If we can get £25-30m for him, we'll be laughing all the way to the bank. -
Why would they? After a strong start he has yet again reverted to type and produced a string of poor results at Palace. Whilst they are higher than Newcastle, it is hardly the kind of form or results to pine for is it?

Anyone got a stream please?

So come on then, who are you backing? Any tips? I'm going for Saint Are to win and a cheeky tenner on The Romford Pele e/w. The Mrs is going for The Last Samuri to win and an e/w on Soll.

Phwoar.... I can see why so many kids found him sexy...

RIP though....

Don't doubt he was a great player but leave off with the comparisons with Messi and C. Ronaldo. They have raised the bar so far with regard to professionalism, consistency and performance that nobody in history can hold a candle to them. Show me anyone with career figures (goals and assists to games ratio) that compares favourably whilst consistently playing in top divisions and we might be able to have a conversation.

He's captained them recently as Fela been playing up. Saints through and through and been with the club since he was 7 or 8. Been a pleasure watching him grow up and seeing how focussed/committed he has become.

My nephew made his debut too! Absolutely buzzing for him!

Schneiderlin Joins Manchester United (Official)

Maybe but he stayed for another season and applied himself in the correct manner, turning in some excellent performances. The same cannot be said for Wanyama. -
Patrick Agyemang always seemed to score against us during out stint in L1 and the Championship.

Without a number 10, our target man forward starts looking extremely isolated if plan A doesn't work.
-
If anyone can't see this team are lacking a ball playing number 10 capable of holding the ball up so others can get past him, picking a pass and even hitting one in the top corner every so often, I worry for them. Our attacking is so woefully one dimensional and has been for a while. We labour the ball in to the channels and then cut it back for the full back to swing in a cross. If the opposition are able to deal with that, we then go on to struggle as nobody seems to have the ability to make a difference through the middle.

Scored a minute later though.

Just me that gets the irony of the original post then? All interesting threads are high jacked by the same posters, all bickering like little ***ts. You have to sift through pages and pages of insults and petit point scoring before finding something worth reading.

He has earned the right for more patience. If he f*cked off at the first sign of another club sniffing around for him, this place would be up in arms, we can't just dispose of a manager the first time he has a dodgy string of results.
-
Yup. Only plus side that might come out of this is is might snap the club out of this sense of self-satisfaction and complacency it has about itself. Players need to work harder, so do the staff but we also need to attract some better players.
