Consensus seems to be we have a weaker squad than last year, but we appear to be at least matching last year’s results? Taking account of the minus four points start, the late loss of THB, the lack of a decent second striker, the absence of Jander, I’m prepared to cut him some slack. The subs at Lincoln, data driven or not, were awful and could well have cost us two points. He doesn’t strike me as stupid or stubborn so hopefully he will learn from that.

Is it possible that Dobbin was bought in as cover for either Azaz or Scienza moving on. A kind of buy-before-you-sell policy often espoused by some on here.

4-6 game ban ‘fair’ 7-10 games harsh more than 10 games, absolutely ridiculous. Considering the club has already been hugely whacked I’m hoping for four games.

I would suggest banned for four match days and warned as to future conduct would be proportionate. Anything bigger than that would have a disproportionate affect on the club, the club has already had their punishment and that was huge.

Not entirely serious but could England have set up at altitude four weeks ago, and travelled out for the four games they played? Obvs that’s a lot of travelling and recovery and I assume the disadvantages outweigh any advantages. Based on the draw it was reasonably predictable they would have to play this game at altitude. on a slight tangent, what’s with the air conditioned grounds? Though I think we have had them air con twice, is that fair?
