Well he's right, its no longer sport but business. All the Premier League clubs are vehicles for their owners to make money. But it is a bit rich for one of the big six to be complaining.

I think you will find that for away games (i.e. WBA) it's the home club that gets the money.......

Last Saturday on Gillette Soccer Saturday, MLT said that the Birmingham decision to sack Rowett was the most bizarre sacking he could remember. Birmingham did at least manage to stay up last season. Southampton's recent managerial change is now looking far more stupid and ten times as catastrophic......

Why does it matter whether the VvD money was all up front or not......? Any Southampton incoming transfer will be structured just the same way.......
