Most football fans have a general interest in all football, I know I do. Even if Saints aren’t playing watching Gillette Soccer Saturday is fascinating. I have many other football clubs I like ( Man City being one) and several I hate Liverpool and poopey being two.

Not really sure about the relevance of having English players or not in the side. Club football is not representative football. It’s a long time since the academy was stuffed with local or English players, and indeed why does it need to be. The players are playing for Southampton Football Club........
