It would have a massive impact on football attendances full stop. Though I don't see how it could ever be law.....

FFP will probably have to be scrapped just to keep football clubs afloat at this time. -
So Football to resume behind closed doors........

Just because he won’t invest doesn’t mean he’s not worth £3.1b. FFP rules will also stop Newcastle’s prospective new owners pouring in billions..... -
No, that’s not a funny thought......
-
I read today that all 24 Championship clubs had discussed the Nuclear option of all going into Administation.....

It will be interesting to see what footballers/PFA do if/when the season is voided. At the moment the clubs are still due to receive more tv money, so deferral is a logical step. Though you would have hoped for more than 10%, with income for the clubs drying up. If/when the season is voided, then it will be interesting to see the attitude of the players/PFA.

Yes of course, £2,500 per month - my mistake......
-
It would only be 80% up to a ceiling of £2,500 a week.....

Something to make us proud to be Saints fans......

What if There is no Transfer Window This Year?
SW5 SAINT replied to SFC Forever's topic in The Saints
Agree, this has to be the most likely scenario. Once players are out of contract the window has to open, as the out of contract players will be free to find new clubs whatever the league decide. Otherwise it would be restraint of trade. No point screwing up next season to save this already screwed up season. Though I would hope we would add more than a defender...... -
I don’t think all the pop stars and self made millionaires that you mentioned are on contracted salary’s. Nobody is obliged to pay any of t them a bean if they don’t perform....
-
With no football likely until about October, something will have to give. With everyone cancelling Sky subscriptions, they too could be in trouble.....
-
I don’t see how they can just complete the Premier league season and void the rest. Imagine the outcry from likes of Leeds and West Brom......
-
If they attempt to restart EPL season behind closed doors, and it seems to be only the EPL being discussed, it will be just pure greed on behalf of the EPL. With the subscribers to Sky, BT etc footing the bill..... I wonder how many people have cancelled their subscriptions to sport channels on satellite tv....?
-
On the other hand if they void the season, teams like AVilla will be guaranteed another season the top flight....
-
The best thing about a new season is that it is exactly that, everyone starts level. There’s every chance a number of football clubs won’t even make it to a new season. If that’s the case the leagues may well get redrawn anyway......
-
To get back to football related discussion, I see the National League are expected to void the entire season later this week. If they do that then the rest of the leagues will almost certainly be obliged to follow suit. The only sensible course of action in my opinion.....

I don't think many football clubs will be worth very much at all in a few weeks, saddled with crippling debts and no income. One thing is for sure football, will never be the same again..... -
How very true, though ultimately I think mankind will always lose any war against nature.....

Southampton Zoo and other places I miss...

The docks with the ocean liners in 1960’s and 70’s. It’s definitely not the same today...... -
And what your suggesting isn’t fair on the others.......
-
I wonder if that will give clubs more leverage with regards contracts that are coming towards their conclusion.....
-
Well it looks like they will now have a chance to do it all again next year.....
