No one has mentioned that for us to be joint 5th we have to win 5-0 to match the team curretly 5th. Just being on the same points as 5th doesn't make you joint with them.

Official Football Manager 2009 *NEWS*
Matthew Le God replied to Matthew Le God's topic in Computer Games
Someones beaten SI to that -
No details on FM09 will be released until next Wednesday. See my thread http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=993 However if you ask this question on the SI boards maybe someone in the development team will know. I would guess that if it didn't work for FM08 then it won't for FM09 but its worth asking

our youngsters played beatifully...Birmingham press
Matthew Le God replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
The actual teams in the division won't think we are rubbish as they will scout us before they play us and see that we're not. However what is in our favour is most opposition crowds think that we are there to be beaten easily and we can in away games use this to our advantage at least in the early part of the season when we are still "unknown". -
EDIT: Videos and screenshots available here! http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=1236 From Miles the Managing Director Not long to wait now

How on earth can you not have Simon Gillett in the starting 11? You don't even have him as a sub!

Would be a great signing. Like Lee Holmes a great prospect who came through young and lost his way. Saints can help put him back on track. He has better ball control that Jermaine Wright, see below http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=vTK5hJMpUzg

I'm sure there is the option to extend them. Spurs and Chelsea may want to see how much we use them and if its in their interest to keep them on loan if they aren't playing. Saints may want to see how they do before comitting to a season long loan. As I said at the beginning I'm sure we can easily extend the loan.

At some point the CB's have to be Svensson and Cork so why not start on Saturday

Has player ever started midfield, forward and CB
Matthew Le God replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
Yep it is. Unlikely many have done this over such a short period. Shows what quality he has. If we don't get promotion this season I don't see him staying long as he is far too good for the Championship. -
Great work Gecko. I'm sticking with mine for a while. Though number 19 is tempting to have

as colinjb said total football, most of our players are interchanging position throughout the game the two wingers, striker and "in the hole man" all swap alot throughout and the wingers and full backs interchange a little -
Hitting the post is off target

It's below the average height for a woman in the UK. So yes it is short.

Relegation battle no chance Mid table at worse Play offs being realistic Top two being optimistic
-
Mainly because everyone else had to cover for his mistakes i.e. Cork who was class
-
Thomas made mislaid passes throughout and won few of his aerial battles against smaller men. He also kept dropping deep when the rest of the defence pushed up and played people onside. He was useless tonight! Im shocked some people thought he played well. Everyone else was great

You can't be serious! Thomas made mislaid passes throughout and won few of his aerial battles against smaller men. He also kept dropping deep when the rest of the defence pushed up and played people onside. He was useless tonight!

He was the opposite of Wayne Thomas who had a truly shocking game. Svensson Cork partnership would be good imo
