  1. It is an early afternoon kickoff on a Sunday under an hour and a half away from Southampton. Little need for most to stay in London overnight.
  2. Likely they would promote 1st and 2nd. Then 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th would play the playoff semi and the two winners promoted. Thus Saints no closer.
  3. You forgot the... FA Cup final in 1900 vs Bury FA Cup final in 1902 vs Sheff Utd (depends who played in away kit) Texaco Cup final in 1975 vs Newcastle Anglo-Italian League Cup final in 1976 vs Napoli All played in red and white stripes
  4. Yes, he is.
  5. What makes you think you would go straight into the conference?
  6. Where have you got that from Dubai_Phil? Did you write it?
  7. Well that is wrong. If Saints lose no matter what happens to Pompey, Saints are out.
  8. It would be on Sunday. If Saints lose then they will be out and the team drawn against Pompey would get a bye to the next round if Pompey go bust.
  9. Well they are lying because it hasn't started yet.
  10. Adjourned until 2pm according to Sky. Judge needs her lunch after a busy couple of hours winding up small businesses.
  11. Centenary was in 1985. Next season is 125 year anivesary. Flybe wouldn't allow for a kit without their sponsorship on it in the 2009/10 season.
  12. All points/goals scored for/against Pompey get expunged from history. Will change the Premiership table a lot but it is the only fair way to do it.
  13. An appropriate song... Webchat with Journalist on Portsmouth News - They have two reporters at the high court. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/custompages/custompage.aspx?pageid=81654
  14. Because he knows it would be just delaying the inevitable and this would happen again a few months latter as the club simply isn't making enough money to cover expenditure. Better to lose £17m than lose £24m.
  15. I hate you all.
  16. Start that at the Pompey game!
  17. He has no choice being ginger. He does have choice if he is a c**t or not. You can't take a child to a game of football and not expect them to hear foul language, its just something that will happen. What you shouldn't have to hear is discrimination based on genetic luck.
  18. A lot of impressionable kids would have been at the game. If the majority of people at the stadium thought the Lewington chant was funny and acceptable then this may be passed onto the kids in the playground tomorrow. You then would think it fine if ginger children at Southampton schools tomorrow are called "F****** wotsits" by children that heard the chants tonight?
  19. If he dyes his hair or changes his skin pigmentation they are still black or ginger anything done is artificial.
  20. I'd have no problem if the chant was "Dean Lewington is a C**t". He is and has chosen to be one of them. But to pick on physical attributes out of his control is pathetic.
  21. People can choose to be fat, people have no choice with skin or hair colour. Lots of bullies coming out in this thread.
  22. I'm not and even if I were it is irrelevant. I knew when I posted that it would bring the bullies to the surface.
  23. "You f***** look like a Mars bar" "You f***** look like a Wotsit" Neither Antonio or Lewington can do anything about their hair or skin colour. Yes, ginger isn't a race but it is still unacceptable and a pathetic chant. Anyone condoning it is a retard as you put it and not me.
  24. So if at the next Saints game you hear an away fan chant "You f***** look like a Mars bar" at Antonio you would think that was OK?
  25. Dean Lewington is a nasty piece of work HOWEVER... having chants about his hair colour is little different from chants about someone's skin colour. Him being ginger is nothing to do with him being a prat. Would you say "well done lads" if it was a chant against a black players skin tone chanting "You f***** look like a Mars bar?"
