A minor miracle that Ralph managed to finish 2 points off 12th with that shallow depth of squad at his disposal...
-
Yeah... But I'm also a masochist with no willpower.... #gluttonforpunishment

Just realised the match is live on Amazon Prime... I'm now beginning to regret signing up for Amazon Prime... 😱
-
Indeed. Russ has never made any 'silly' team selections this season and I don't expect a manager of his calibre to start doing so now...
-
I wasn't at the game so I can only go on what I read. A tad odd that someone said it was cramp if it obviously wasn't... (Sure I read that, unless I'm going senile... #distinctpossibility)
-
Could've sworn it was reported he came off with cramp the game before last... Yet another one of those 'Saintsy' injuries that starts off innocuous then mysteriously evolves into a season curtailing injury...? Talking of which... Has anyone actually worked out yet what injury(s) Stewart and Larios currently have....?

Saints vs Swansea - Sunday 12th January 1630

The draw that gives us the best odds of progressing to the next round, please (obviously) -

Why did it take them 5 minutes to come to the same decision if it was as clear cut as you say...? #rhetoricalquestion
-
Was out last night so didn't get to see the game but, once again, it appears that VAR was misused by the officials. A VAR decision should never take circa 5 minutes. I've said this time and time again: if it takes that long to work out whether the on field decision was right or wrong then, by definition, it's not a "clear and obvious" error. There should be a 30 second time limit on VAR decisions. If they can't work it out in that time frame then stick with the on field decision. It's that simple (or should be...)

Same question I posed on the Ross Stewart thread... Recurrence of a previous injury or a new unrelated injury? Have we ever been told what the nature of his injury(s) are...?
-
Do we know if this is a recurrence of the same injury he had when we signed him, or is it a completely unrelated injury? If the latter, have the club stated what the injury is this time? Maybe it's 'Lariositis'...?
-
I don't think anyone was expecting Saints to achieve a "high" finish in this league, but I suspect most were anticipating having a tad more points than the grand total of 4 after 12 games. The squad is better than that, in my humble opinion.

Sssshhhh.... It's more fun if our little north of the border chum remains blissfully ignorant...

It's Dusty Bin, all day long.

Indeed... it's so obvious that the journos in the room are wary about asking Russ 'tough' questions to avoid rattling the cage, and end up going for the 'safe' option instead....
-
And after extolling the virtues of how brilliantly Brighton have gone about things the last few years, the journo asked him if Southampton were following that model, and Russ replied: "No, we're doing things very differently... we're doing things our way".... (paraphrased) Yeah, what a bizarre question from the journo there... why on Earth would we want to emululate the way a successful club does stuff? Utter madness...

Ha... Not guilty m'lud... He also said he relies on Jordan Sibley's feedback for what fans are saying on social media etc.... so, what's Jordan's user name on here then... @gio1saints or @Fabrice29...?

Sometimes its quite easy to predict what's going to happen in the future.... (and before you come back to me with your pesky cleverness, yes, I know Phil Connors eventually changed the course of history, so perhaps there's hope forMartin yet... )

Not as nonsensical as your first word, to be fair...
