  1. MLT obviously under instructions not to ask Dragan any 'difficult' questions (about our league position and the management) then... #puffpiece
  2. Rigid
  3. Chortle
  4. Alex Scott pronouncing 'congratulations' as "congradulations" every 2 minutes on The Tournament quiz show.
  5. Why do they always make these draws as complicated and drawn-out as possible...? Tedious... Anyway, England's Group: Serbia, Albania, Latvia, Andorra
  6. Best one yet IMHO 😁
  7. The club collaborating with a navigation company... Make up your own punchlines...
  8. Typical Antarcticans... Can't be arsed to complete a survey, yet again.
  9. I'm just popping to the lavatory to flush the contents of my wallet down the toilet. If that's not "ambitious", I don't know what is...
  10. That scenario could be even worse if the other team is that cesspit of a club down the road...
  11. Permission to exhibit my stupidy / naivety m'lud... Having regulations to ensure products are generally safe sounds like a reasonably good idea to me, on the premise that unsafe products aren't a good idea.... But the bit I don't get is, if I make something in a country that is inside the EU and sell it to another country that's also inside the EU, why wouldn't I be adhering to the same or similar regulations as a country that makes the same product outside the EU selling into to a country that's inside the EU? Surely there's "paperwork" involved in adhering to any kind of regulation, regardless of whether your company is inside or outside the a given trading block? The ultimate aim here is to ensure products are "safe", wherever they are made, surely...? In other words, what does a company outside the EU have to do differently to a country inside the EU to prove that their goods are "safe"...? As I say, maybe I'm being as thick as those that voted for Brexit here.... p.s. my company produces software... we sell it to countries inside and outside the EU without any significant difference in paperwork.... (indeed, UK contracts are often more complicated than non-UK ones....) why can't it be that simple for other sectors...?
  12. Up
  13. I may be misremembering here, but didn't one of the head honchos (Parsons?) at the last Solent Fan Forum state that there was a huge sigh of relief in the boardroom when we got promoted because we'd have been in a spot of bother financially if we hadn't come straight back up...?
  14. Yup... https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/jose-mourinho-ready-premier-league-return-manage-club-bottom-avoid-uefa-competitions-man-utd-draw-red-card/bltabf4cbaf43dc8209
  15. *Cameron (You'd have thought a 'club plant' would know their onions... )
  16. Wouldn't be unhappy with that 👍
  17. Ah, fair enough. My telepathy skills let me down again!
  18. Yep, myself and a few others have advocated this before. Given we're already as good as relegated, I see a caretaker manager as a pragmatic "nothing to lose" option for the remainder of the season and I'd be happy for Lallana to be given a crack of the whip.
  19. Given you only joined the forum in October 2023, what User ID were you using when the takeover happened...?
  20. Don't know what you mean.... all seems above board to me.... afterall, Sport Republic were the "Perfect Solution" and all's going according to plan.... 😂
  21. And there was me thinking it was to avoid becoming a Pompey fan...
