  1. Neville may be over the hill, and not a viable target, but this man is, and not as a 'back up' either. By Metro Sport Reporter 10 Jun 2012 4:40 pm Arsenal are ready to cut their losses on Andrei Arshavin and replace him with his Russian international team-mate Alan Dzagoev
  2. Mansfield Town left 96 empty seats as a mark of remembrance to the number of Liverpool fans who lost their life in the Hillsborough disaster. Which was a fantastic gesture. Poopey are planning something similar in future weeks, to commemorate everyone who died of the bubonic plague
  3. Very much so this ^^^^^ Listen to all the Politicians on the news, respecting her.
  4. Overlooked by all on here....so bump! http://www.football365.com/f365-says/8621503/F365-Says
  5. Not related, but about a lawsuit...... BEST LAWYER STORY OF THE YEAR, DECADE AND PROBABLY THE CENTURY!! Charlotte, North Carolina. USA . A lawyer purchased a box of very rare and expensive cigars, then insured them against, among other things, fire. Within a month, having smoked his entire stockpile of these great cigars and without yet having made even his first premium payment on the policy the lawyer filed a claim against the insurance company. In his claim, the lawyer stated the cigars were lost "in a series of small fires." The insurance company refused to pay, citing the obvious reason, that the man had consumed the cigars in the normal fashion. The lawyer sued.. and WON! (Stay with me.) Delivering the ruling, the judge agreed with the insurance company that the claim was frivolous. The judge stated, nevertheless, that the lawyer held a policy from the company, which it had warranted that the cigars were insurable and also guaranteed that it would insure them against fire, without defining what is considered to be unacceptable "fire", and was obligated to pay the claim! Rather than endure lengthy and costly appeal process, the insurance company accepted the ruling and paid $15,000 to the lawyer for his loss of the cigars lost in the "fires". NOW, FOR THE BEST PART.. After the lawyer cashed the cheque, the insurance company had him arrested on 24 counts of ARSON!!! With his own insurance claim and testimony from the previous case being used against him, the lawyer was convicted of intentionally burning his insured property and was sentenced to 24 months in jail and a $24,000 fine. This is a true story and was the First Place winner in the recent Criminal Lawyers Award Contest! ONLY IN AMERICA !
  6. Never say die!!
  7. Really! better than we have, really!
  8. Whilst I know what you mean, it's not what you wrote!
  9. When you finish doing that 'line', will it make you play better?
  10. But they've only recently become a league club in their latest guise, so any previous entity's don't count ;-)
  11. Again! what's with this 'backup', if we are going to buy, buy better, then those that are currently here can be 'backups', this is how teams improve!
  12. ........They also have a hugely exciting youth to their side. Of the outfield ten who started against Reading, Steve Davis is 28, Jos Hooiveld is 29 and Lambert is 31 - the rest are 24 and under. That Shaw is 17 is astonishing, given his speed, power and assurance on the ball. I'd like to have a look at his birth certificate please - he's Southampton's answer to Kanu........ Big
  13. This ^^^^^^^^ A 'happy clappers' thread, lovely

  20. You're joking, right! those two are crap, and that Welbeck, if this is our best eleven, then we would be best served, staying at home, to save the embarrassment imho.
  21. I think (don't quote me) that they asked Adkins first and he said no, then went for Poyet, have now returned to Adkins, and bribed him with a million and a half pay off if he keeps them up. As I said, rumour only, not known as a 'fact'.
  22. I rang the missus from A&E this morning, to tell her that I had severed my my finger, "not the whole finger" she cried, "no" I replied, "the one next to it".
