He should of left well alone, and continued on from our last few seasons, but no, he knew better, as Wenger taught him, and look how Arsenal are doing, that's with far far better players than we have. Ha! tell that to most of the doomsayers on here, that post their opinion as absolute fact, then rubbish anyone who dares to argue the point. I suspect that only two or three posters on here, have an insight into the club, and as such, post 'facts', the rest is just opinions based on overactive minds, or crap media reporting.

My take on this. I suspect, that the only interest, if any, would be a CB, maybe an AMF. We have two young strikers well thought of, waiting to break into the first team. So I suspect it will be a fairly quiet few weeks from our side of things.

You really do have an agenda against the lad. every post from you, runs him down, I can only think he p1ssed you off big style at some point in your life. Thanks be, that the coaches at Southampton and England have a tad more knowledge than you.

Of course we want to keep these players, but alas, we will never be a 'big' club, so those players will always want bigger and better. I left a good job, to go for the money, wished I'd stayed where I was, as I'm sure, some players wish they had stayed as well.

Go on then, tell me, how do you keep hold of these 'good' players, if they want to move to a bigger club, for more money, in an age where contracts mean nothing. People keep banging on about how we should have held onto these players, but truth is, we couldn't then, and won't be able to in the future. The playing field is no longer level, the top clubs have made sure of that, and we just can't compete with the silly money being thrown around. I suggest you, and others accept our club for what is has achieved, or go support a 'glory' club.
