  1. I was sceptical before I went, I do think I would try this again, but not for this type of injury.
  2. Sorry chaps....I have to hold my hands up to this. Owing to a change in my shift system, I had to give up my season ticket three years ago, it has been all downhill since.
  3. WS go's on about style......if this post hadn't had a name associated with it, I would off said, that this was written by Rupert himself. I have read, and re-read his posts, and there is something about them.......style, um!!!!

  12. That's not the problem, they had children...hundreds if you were to believe the old testament, and so to populate the Earth, they must of copulated with each other..................so in fact, we are all related!!!!!
  13. What Is an agnostic? An agnostic thinks it impossible to know the truth in matters such as God and the future life with which Christianity and other religions are concerned. Or, if not impossible, at least impossible at the present time. Are agnostics atheists? No. An atheist, like a Christian, holds that we can know whether or not there is a God. The Christian holds that we can know there is a God; the atheist, that we can know there is not. The Agnostic suspends judgment, saying that there are not sufficient grounds either for affirmation or for denial. At the same time, an Agnostic may hold that the existence of God, though not impossible, is very improbable; he may even hold it so improbable that it is not worth considering in practice. In that case, he is not far removed from atheism. His attitude may be that which a careful philosopher would have towards the gods of ancient Greece. If I were asked to prove that Zeus and Poseidon and Hera and the rest of the Olympians do not exist, I should be at a loss to find conclusive arguments. An Agnostic may think the Christian God as improbable as the Olympians; in that case, he is, for practical purposes, at one with the atheists.
  14. Well...the good book say's that God created man ie Adam and Eve. Science however, has poo pooed that theory. So what proof do you need. Whilst I mention the myth, that is Adam and Eve.....should you believe in this, then you must also believe in 'incest'......
  15. Agnostic here.........has there ever been proof of God, or any God.....as someone said on another thread. It was a way of controling populations thousands of years ago, and the human race has not grown out of the idea. Look up into the night sky, can you see heaven?????........nah!!!!!
  16. I think that given SOG's other posts, that he in fact, is not a Saints fan, but a wind up merchant from down the road. I two agree that this was a veiled attack, and as such, should be dealt with.

I'll give it a go........methinks we are talking bout a different Abraham, as this one is from the old testament......Islam came some six hundred years later. The Land of Israel is the only piece of land on earth ever given to a people by God. God gave Abraham and his descendants the Land of Israel as an eternal homeland. May 14th 1948, the star of David was raised over Israel [flag] thus fulfilling Isaiah 66:8" shall a nation be born at once ? Israel was named after one of the patriarchs [Abraham, Isaac, Jacob] Genesis 32 beg. @ verse 24, the incarnate Christ [Jesus] wrestled with him and changed his name from Jacob to Israel, so began a nation, Zionism seems to be a controversy to most of the world, but not God or his people, Christians and Jews. God said to Abram: "Go from your land ... to the land that I will show you." (Genesis 12:1) God made a covenant with Abram, saying: "To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt as far as the great river the Euphrates. The land of the Kenites, Kenizites, Kadmonites; the Chitties, Perizites, Refaim; the Emorites, Canaanites, Giga****es and Yevusites." (Genesis 15:18-21) Genesis 17:8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. The Old testament mate.......try reading it......

You have no argument from me.......so if both peoples are entitled to the land, why then, is it, that only one of those peoples would like to see a solution to the problem (ie a two state solution), and the other people, wants to wipe the first people from the face of the earth ( their quote ).

Genesis Chapter 12 1. Now the LORD has said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2. And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3. And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
