I think this is a great idea, I have believed for some time, that a MLT statue should be commisioned, but agree with the many others suggested here. I like the wall idea (Hands up if you have a brick or a slab with your name on it!!). With all this in mind, I would like to see a commitee selected, to raise moneys for this great adventure. IMO, it's got nothing to do with class, where Lowe is concerned, reading everything about him over 12 years, he is everthing our club Chairman should not of been, and is the root cause of all our ills. Wilde is a turncoat, and in recent history, has caused more damage than Lowe, and quite rightly, should be villified. That's IMHO of course.

Nick, with respect, and not aimed at starting an argument, but no-one has influenced me in my views on Mr Lowe. He has managed that all by himself, and whilst I accept that each is entitled to his/her opinion, Duncan has his views, as do each and eveyone of us.

But surely that was in respect of the whole of Lowe's setup..ie Portaloo!!!. I'm trying to say, and let's surmise here. Let's say we survive this season, and Wotte wins ten matches, the fans think he's the next best thing since sliced bread, and the players think the sun shines out of his a*se............then if Crouch took over in the summer, regardless of what he said last year, IMO (note that bit!), Crouch would not be so egotistic, as to get rid of a popular manager.
