My points have already been raised, but hell, what a crap team selection. As soon as I saw KWP and Redmond on the left, I knew we were in trouble. Every single attack down the left, resulted in either one of them having to check back onto their right foot, leaving a mainly forward pass into the box, where the front men had already made their moves. It cried out for left footed crosses, with players running on to them. Then to compound this crap selection, he brings on Long, ffs, Long, to try and win a game with a goal, a man who can’t fecking score. For me, this manager has had more than enough time, and seems intent on doing it his way, which is glaringly obvious, the wrong way. Time to say goodbye.

Our three remaining CB’s are all a year older, and history tells us, most CB’s get better with age. Salisu will have settled by now, and I see a better season ahead for him. As for the new boy, I have a feeling on this one, that we may have dug up another diamond, time will tell. All my opinion.

Lots on here, have no idea how to run a professional football club, seems they have been playing to much FM. Getting rid of players who don’t want to go, is hard, likewise, holding onto players who don’t want to be here, is also hard. We are stronger this year, than last, my opinion, based on the fullbacks, I also think we will be stronger at CB, again, my opinion.

Umm! having just watched the whole match again, I have to say, that the Palace goal was offside. Watch the free kick, when taken, three Palace players were offside, the play the went into phase 2, where, they scored their goal, and Benteke was onside. But it should of gone back to the first phase, which was offside. My opinion. Also, in the 74 minute their substitute forward threw himself to the ground with zero contact, in an attempt at gaming a penalty. Finally, Zaha’s assault on Stephens in the last few minutes , was a clear red card IMO.

I lay the blame, solely with the big clubs. They started paying the big bucks, and we, along with all the other also rans, have been trying to keep up. We are paying ridiculous amounts to what are, average players, and we are struggling. If we fail to pay those stupid wages, then we get average, below average players, and that is the market we are about to enter.

You should add, that this is what they do in AFL. It works.

If you go and buy a Roll Royce for 200g, then sell the doors, the tyres, the engine. Do not expect to get 200g when you want to sell it again.
