Ferguson had an attack of sour grapes and said Beatty was an old fashioned centre forward just because he headed the goal.
-
Moussa playing as an extra full back meant he was out of position most of the time - also reducing the attacking threat when he was doubling up on Traorae
-
Why not play a defender then e.g Stevens
-
Moussa seemed to treat the ball like a hot potato whenever he received it instead of running with it
-
I said he went for the money did I not. I agree I would have done the same
-
Why didi he ever leave saints in the first place. More money I suppose. i bet he could not believe his luck to get a loan move with us, let alone to come straight into the team
-
My wife would be so upset if the badge was changed . It is part of the club's heretage. Why must every thing be trendy,
-
I only said to my son today that the JWP/ Romeo partnership has been a springboard for are attacking moves. Well posted
-
I agree. It seemed like a plan to lull Newcastle to sleep or fall into a false sense of security, and then -Pow, like an allegator suddenly appearing out of a muddy pooj and snapping up its victim, or in Saints case get a goal
-
Is walcott or Dejenepo up front with Adams?
-
The weather will play a big part. Not good at the top of Scotland where I am on holiday. I read Severn Bridge closed down South
-
The way MU sack managers Ralph would be mad to go to MU
-
Hojberg did not play much after the lockdown as he was agitating to get away. No one is saying Romeo was not good before Hoj went
-
Pleased to note that the posters on this forum are discerning enough to recognise a defender, like Romeo and not an attacker who is in the limelight more, is Mom material. Selling Hogbert i]has given Romeo his chance and he has grasped it 'with both feet'
-
Some of the short passing to one another when we were boxed in by their players was like pure instinct we knew it would get to the player being passed to Reminded me of the70's Brazilian team
-
I wonder if Wallcott can get back in the team after that superb display
-
Only thing missing was the crowd singing Ole, Ole ,as saints passed around unchallenged in the last 10 minutes or so. This side are unrecognisable from the side most of last season. Romeo was immense but all the team looked so confident , arrogant even.

Saints vs Everton - Build up & Match Thread
Totton Saint replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
How can you sayVest cannot head attacking balls after the goal he headed last Saturday -
The best defender in the world would have ben fooled by Werner's dummy - let alone Bednerack
-
The quality of the BT box office picture on my TV was much better than the usual BT sport and Sky football broadcasts. I still have an after glow since seeing Saints play so well - roll on the next game!
-
Don't you need to play to get match fit?
-
What is the point of a medical prior to signing. If injured then negotiate a lower transfer fee. Surprised no comment about Ing's goal for England
-
Surely he should have had a medical just before we signed him. If not fit he should not have been signed
-
I think it is disgusting when so many jobs are at risk and so many people are in lockdown that our welcome release of tension by watching PL football on TV is being seized on as a way of exploiting the situation by charging £15
-
Most impressed with that display. Vesergard's haircut seems to have made him a better player!
