At least he does not keep kicking it into touch a la Mcarthy. I thought his kicking was good
-
Saw Sky's recording of the match today. I noted our first goal started fro a very accurate kick out from FF. Then the rest was excellent passing which ended up going to Broja Broja

Why can't Saints tell us who is either injured or not fit
-
I think he has written this game off in a misguided to save his big guns for Spurs. Cannot think of anything else unless their has been a bust up in training
-
We played rugby at Totton grammar School Saturday mornings. In the afternoon me and myfellow pupils played football for a club I formed. We played in the New Forest league

Do you live in Farnborough? Who did you support before Saints - they must have been bad! Lets hope your support begins an upturn in Saints fortunes.

i think Depressed was writing tongue in cheek and being sarcastic with Alex
-
McArthur most be at a low ebb after 7 goals conceded in last 2 games. Why not give Forster a turn?
-
We could not even get a point off Norwich
-
It just sums it all up if we have to hope our opponents have injury problems to expect the game goes our way
-
Ralph trying to go toe to toe with Liverpool (with that formation )was always going to end in tears. I agree with Adrian Lord's post -we should have parked the bus.
-
I get very depressed waiting each week for Saturday to come round only to be disappointed. Saints are so inconsistent
-
we wait all week looking forward to the game and now this.

The Telegraph says he has Covid

I bet it was. As I was leaving the ground with my pals from the site where we were constructing the Monklands Motorway, now part of the M8 around Glasgow, there was as crowd surge which lifted me off my feet. I came back to earth about 20 yards away minus my shoes. Inside the ground during the game it was like being in Roman arena.

I went to a European cup game at Celtic's ground in the early 70's . The team they played had a centre forward called Bene but forget the club's name. Anyhow the atmosphere was something else - absolutely electric! Never experienced anything like it since
-
The excited commentators especially at the final whistle all added to the sense of joy and wonderment surounding the whole game. Come on Che, score against Norwich!
-
The move leading up to Che's goal was scintillating, crowned by a super shot from Che who had to be very quick to run onto SA's pass before the defender got to it. The whole team excelled themselves. You could say the manager made an inspired substitution with SA coming on. I now live inScotland and the game had added meaning for me.

Some of the football I saw from Sts first half yesterday was nearly as good as I have seen. Quite scintillating and and mesmerising in patches. Don't say I am easily pleased
