The way we used confident short passes to get out of tight spots was superb. Every player seemed to instinctively know where their other mates were. A very silky performance.

I think the new owner ship has had a tangible effect on morale and hence performance. Gao was just a millstone around Saints neck. Now players can see the way ahead.

Just watched the highlights on youtube. The way Romeo took the pass. which was travelling at a very fast speed, from Salisu, killed it dead, turned and passed to Broja all in the blink of an eye was stupendous. Full credit to Broja for scoring.
