  2. And twas on this day, a child was born... From Orcheston to Southampton...and now Lord of West Ilsley. May I be the first to congratulate Michael Roger Channon, who becomes a pensioner tomorrow. The knowledge of which I'm sure will make many of us feel very very old...
  3. Sirs Giving the parlous finances of those squatters in the Fratton area of P*rtsmouth, can we Real Ale drinkers happily anticipate the renaming of one of your (and Hampshire's) finest ales as Newco Royal...Yours, etc....
  4. Well, We do know one Saints fan who can make a difference... Sam Vokes
  5. To the usual tune.... One team in Hampshire There's one less team in Hampshire ...One Less team in Haaaaampshire et cetera et cetera
  6. Hurrah, Thanks All
  7. Trying to recall the name of the v useful centre back we signed from Middlesborough 07/08; heart on sleeve playerr, thinlk he went to Stoke. In a pub, trying to settle an argument. First name Adam...?
  8. RIP Mary
  9. Well, my "little" brother is usually Silver Command at Millwall and travels with the away boys occasionally. If they were coming down he would have told me. And our Mum. (Yes he, and others, did come down for us v Millwall and we had a happy time in the Guide Dog the night before the game) He's ex St Marks and Bellemoor so on the wider question of police intelligence, I leave that to individual interpretation.
  10. Dear All My mate will be in Edinburgh on Saturday and would like to watch the game perhaps in the company of other exiled Saints Fans. Given that my particular pub of choice (The Polton Inn in Lasswade), is a bit remote for him, Can anyone recommend a good place. Cheers
  11. My brother is senior old bill and generally i/c or 2 i/c Policing at Millwall. May be coming with them on Saturday....
  12. Gruel? Twould be a rule too cruel...
  13. Maybe its half right: we get him as a CB in this league....
  14. Seared in my memory, 15 at the time. No team has ever, ever taken over Southampton like they did.
