The Northam Stand is built on stilts which can be jacked up to enable further seating to be slotted in underneath. Fact.
-
That's not an entirely fair comparison is it? The Man City offer is a marketing ploy, with only a few seats available. In both cases the ST covers four fewer games. I also bet we will get more sell out games than either of them next year. The fact remains an adult can renew in the Chapel for £16.50 per game, which is excellent value, and arguably demonstrates the club does value the fan base.
-
Or she can go to the Chapel End for £375. I don't mean to appear condescending, but £300 (I guess in the centre somewhere?) was exceptionally good value. No doubt part of the thinking is we will attract bigger crowds, and better for the club to sell the centre tickets at £515, or £30 on the day for the sell out games? Not saying its right or fair, it just makes commercial sense.

If I read it right, a 60yo renewing a ST can watch Championship football for £16.50 per match from the Chapel End - I'm sorry guys but that appears to be outstanding value, despite the increase.
-
Whilst appreciating the shock of a 70% odd price rise, there is a part of me that thinks the 60-64yo had a bloody good deal for a few seasons. The official retirement age is still 65 is it not? And rising?

Yep, and then they wonder why they get banned.

David Connolly on his Injuries & Pre-Season last year

Despite some of the more lurid speculation, this piece hints at the real reasons behind Pardew's departure. Pre-season was a mess, lack of interest in sport science, not involving youngsters with the first team squad etc etc - all part of NC's vision for the future of the club. One or the other had to go, and it wasn't goung to be Don Cortese. -
It's an unfair comparison; Messi would struggle in L1. Fact

Call this a takeover thread??? Pah.

I know a dyslexic, agnostic insomniac who lies awake at night wondering if there's a dog......... Always worth trotting out on threads like this.

I like yours the best

That's good - he reminds me of that Dutch bloke who used to play for Chelsea. You know, the baldy one.

In fairness she could have meant any number of things. We should stop analysing every utterance and just enjoy.

Are you mad???? Northern Europe I guess. And one things for sure, the players will be properly prepared this close season.
-
Not according to their schedule???
-
I wish Merrington would stop talking about Saints being in the No. 2 slot
-
Loved him in the day, but he's not the future of this club.

50% of MOT testing stations will be done for - or the price will double. Also when it fails there will be twice the work to be done and not many will budget for it. They'll bottle it and leave the status quo.
-
Where is this bottomless pit of money, or this limitless pool of quality players willing to drop to L1??
-
I understand the person responsible for DoB's at the PA is dyslexic. He's actually 32...........or 12
