Technically the Board run PFC, AA is just the shareholder atm. We had a similar thing with Agent Orange I think - wasn't Wilde, then an owner, voted off the board which sent him running back to Lowe??

He won't have "given" them the money. Even if he has lent them the funds, he will have to cough up the existing HMRC arrears, pay the Jan salaries, plus tax etc, so he's in for another £3.2m min. Then he'll have to cover running expenses for the foreseeable. He'd be bonkers.

The truth doesn't matter to some with an anti-Cortese agenda I'm afraid.
-
You're not very good with conspiracy theories are you? How much effort do you think went into fooling the world about the moonlanding, and that's small fry compared to Hooper to Saints. And we know Cortese monitors the forum, planting little snippets here and there no doubt - what else has he got to do with his time? Its not like he's running a multi-million pound business or anything.

Fact is we are a cash buyer, in a buyers market. We don't need to pay over the odds, and shouldn't squander our riches to appease the ill-informed idiots who would prefer us to go down the Pompey route. Then there are the idiots who, despite the clear evidence we did not put this in the public domain, believe this is some sort of confidence trick by Cortese to fool the fans. Some people don't deserve this club.

I probably should have guessed, but this quote about the Directos and Owners test was a revelation: A spokesman said: ‘If you own 30 per cent or more of a football club, or if you are a director, you have to go through the test. It’s a self-certification test and there is a legal requirement that the information has to be accurate.’ So it's a self certification exercise - no wonder everyone passes

OK: 1. WUP Petition means bank account frozen 2. There are no other means to pay bills, including salaries unless someone else does it - making that person liable for NI, PAYE etc. The PFA m,ay do that for the players, but not for the staff I wouldn't think. 3. An advance of the PP will only work if it's used to pay HMRC (ie Direct from the Football Authorities to HMRC), and then HMRC agree to apply for a discharge of the WUP.If that were to happen, you would assume the other clubs will have to go along with it, and want to be sure there is no unfair advantage. Ergo a whopping points deduction or auto relegation 4. It seems Administration is not an option, they either need a madman or a conman to buy them. Step up Chinny, or pop they go. IMO. But then again, I thought that last time.

Any time now I expect Lampitt to "accidentally" fall into a lifeboat.

So now we know their tax bill is £800k per month. I suspect VAT is due shortly also, and then there's the wagesin 10 days time................

Hold your nerve boys. There will be ups and downs. Teams will take points off each other. In Nige we trust.

I'm not saying anything untoward has happened but, given the past connections, I'd be very surprised if we were wasting our time on a player who wasn't interested.

We should only sign players whose names scan in to established football chants.

Just speculation, but it's not beyond the bounds of possiblity that ML appointed NC as an Executor, and he's on the Mali Board in that capacity. In these cicumastances, and given NC's previous statements, I only see it as positive. But I am an eternal optimist.

I fondly remember the early 70's as a teenager we had a whole street league, playing home and away fixtures. Referees were appojnted. Even some dads were involved. It used to get really competitive, with fights breakignn out over various rule infringements. As a puny grammar school kid I could play on an equal footing with those rough secondary school boys like I never could in the real version. For some reason I was always Everton and my best player (why one should be better than the others I've no idea!) was Mick Buckley who was top goal scorer in our league for two seasons running. Happy days.

I feel an awayday coming on

Our record on buying wingers from the jocks isn't great, ergo that will always be the case.

If we had to pick our five hardest players to fight who would we pick?

I'm pretty confident that this group are more than capable of holding their own at Krap Notarff, unlike the last lot of pansies we took there. -
I think you should consider changing your Username.

All that proves is how many Arsenal fans you have.

Hmmm. If the Lithuanian/Latvians decide PFC are funded by CSI cash they might go for a Restraint order against all assets owned by CSI to prevent the cash seeping away. That would see them royally ****ed.
