As per Adkins post-match interview, he's being asked to play on the shoulder, to create space. goes with the territory a little I think.

We will need four quality strikers through the course of next season. I do think we bought Lee with an eye to next season, expecting it to take time for him to settle - its taken no time at all. Expect he will get a dip at some point though.

How many points will it take to finish in the top two?
Faz replied to Saint Without a Halo's topic in The Saints
The thing to remember is how many times the five main contenders have to play each other. Realisticallt its now between us WHU, Reading, Boro. Key games: Brum v Boro WHU v Boro Boro v Saints WHU v Reading WHU v Brum Saints v Reading Brum v Reading We only appear twice. Clearly points will be taken from each other, but Reading have three tough away games there. We need to avoid defeat against Boro and Reading, and win the winnable ones. -
It seem our Nige likes him - he seems to get picked when available. Perhaps its the unpredictability??
-
It was their cup final, they all raised their game. I doubt they could perform with that intensity, as a team, on a regular basis.
-
As with all compliance, all it does is impede those who operate to good practice by imposing additional administrative burden and cost, whilst doing little to disuade the cowboys............until they get caught.
-
Why would you seek advice from a football message board? Weird.

IMO we expect to be in the Premier League, either this season or next. Signing a guy with Premier League potential from Japan, and giving him 6 months to acclimatise is such good sense. In fact, I'm seeing PL quality right through the team. Or perhaps I'm just over-excited.

Brilliant. So about 3% max of the bestest managed to stay behind to protest about something, or someone; They don't know what, or who, exactly, but they protested anyway. Sadly for them (and us!), I suspect the reaction on here far outweighs anything they'll get elsewhere.

Chance: Bank error in your favour. Lost files cause salaries not to be paid. Definitely not your fault. Carry on.
-
Chance - Caravan Tax. You are charged £200 for every caravan on Portsea Island. All tax payments are regarded as optional.

Of course, if TB gets arsey, Chinny could claim a default event has occurred and take possession of FP. That would jigger them. TB does not hold all the cads I this one. Sit tight and enjoy the ride.
-
Surely Chinny will tie them up in litigation for years. And it raises the prospect of him joining forces on the unsecured element with HMRC to vote against any CVA. Oh the ironing.
-
He's right. If they can get to the end of the season. If they can pay the CVA. If they can restructure their cost base. If they can sort out ground and land ownership. If they can find a buyer with funds to burn on a money-pit.
-
It really should be three strikes and you're out
-
OK, butas ever, there are more questions than answers: * What happens to the debts under the CVA? Do the outstanding debts go back to their original pre-CVA level? * Will Baker Tilly have a voice in deciding the outcome of a CVA if a buyer willing to settle all debts is not found?
-
I agree (I think! It's all very convoluted) that HMRC are in complete control. PFC 2010 are liable for the old CVA. The terms of the old CVA can only be changed by agreement of the creditors, of which HMRC must now be the biggest as the football related debts have been cleared. If the first installments is missed, the old CVA collapses - and it's a mess. There is also then an arguement for saying that, effectively, they didn't exit via a CVA, and there should be an additional points deduction IMO.
-
What the phew are missing in comparing thier various administrations with ours, is that there's a very good reason we didn't need to exit Administration via a CVA. They might get it some day.
-
Hmmm not so sure - Baker Tilly will presumably represent the CVA??
-
If I was in charge at Southern Electric, I'd pull the plug now considering they've given notice they intend to rack up a bigger bill which they can't/won't pay.
-
I don't care if they finish top just do long as we beat them on Tuesday. Their next three games after us are Blackpool, Palarse and Cardiff. We shouls want Blackpool and Cardiff to drop points.
-
If they do get an advance to keep them going, I can't see any way that will happen withut the other clubs wanting an severe points deduction at the very least. Clubs such as Cardiff and WHU have a vested interest in keeping them going, and a severe points deduction helps the clubs at the bottom.

My mother told me if I looked at pictures like this I'd turn to stone. Well, its starting to happen.......
-
You see, they can't claim the Old Co is nothing to do with them, but also claim the trophies of the past as part of their glorious heritage; that would just be hypoctitical.
-
And if there is no PFC..................
