  1. I've heard that Norwich already have loads of Lambert Merchandise. Could be mileage in this.
  2. It doesn't really matter if no one else has had an offer accepted.
  3. We will need players in the PL who are capable of doing something different. He is one of those.
  4. Get used to it.
  5. If he signs, then great. If not, then he'll get unmercifully boo'd when he comes to SMS. That'll learn him.
  6. What you're implying is that they have mobile phones in Mexico. Strange.
  7. You're right. Thats a defo 18 points right there, and half way to safety before we've even kicked a ball. Easy this pL stuff.
  8. You see, the power is all with the players. JW is one of their few sellable players, but he doesn't have to go anywhere he doesn't want o. So there may have been better offers (£400k is a snip I think), but if he didn't want to go there's nothing TB can do about it. Whoever (if anyone) ends up taking on this bag of bones is still looking down the barrell of a £10m salary overspend next year. Still can't see whats in it for Chinnery if they can't shift the high spenders. If Balu takes it on, then the FL will probably ask for a bond. Whether they get one or not is open to question. He will probably say that its his way or the highway. The FL will buckle, and agree he can take it on. wait to see if the CVA gets approved and then decide on points deductions. The complete lask of noise from TB is a worry though. Where is all the "48hrs to save the club" tub thumping??
  9. Well CP aren't exactly flush themselves so that won't generate much cash.
  10. As PKF quote CVA1 as one amount, you have to assume they get one vote. I guess good old HMRC are in control of that, and they still don't vote in favour of a CVA (at least until there's a change to the Football Creditors rule). I'm not sure it's cut and dried just yet.

    £10m........ Get Serious.
  12. How do you know he doesn't complain? Just asking.
  13. Easy to be cynical about these things. Get your kids out to see it, they'll remember it for the rest of thier lives.
  14. I believe
  15. Liverpool should have appointed Brad Pitt last time round. I don't thnk FSG will make that mistake twice.
  16. I see him as an old fashioned manager. He buys well, gives the team a shape, and then lets them play. If it goes wrong its because the players weren't good enough, or they didn't play to orders. Our Nige is more of a modern coach imo. Nige will tinker with the shape, and can affect the game in progress by tactical nouse. He will make good players better. Nige is the Wenger to Pardews Redknap.
  17. Robinson yes, Green no.
  18. Don't remember those three at all
  19. I think the right thing would be for us to raise the money to pay off the charities.
  20. What we really need is a radio station.
  21. Can't see the Spurs thing myself. He's a good player I think. Bear in mind, given how attacking we've been this season, he was bound to beleft without cover on occasion. We're likely to be much less adventurous next season.
  22. I predict one youngster will break through in pre-season. No idea which one.

The problem is that the journos have space to fill, and if we're not giving out info, then they write what they want. Not saying we should change our stance, but need to be prepared for a sh1t fest from them if it is the case that we maintain radio silence so far as the media is concerned. I quite like a siege mentality myself.
  24. I predict the price will be more expensive than Man Utd, but less than Chelsea. And there will be several threads about the fairness or otherwise of Prices. Schemes/discounts, allocation, moving seats, inadequacies of the ticket office.
  25. Even if HMRC win, what's to stop the FL charging the new entity an entry fee equivalent to the football debts? I don't think the FL will just let clubs jack off the football debts and then re-join with impunity.
