That's how we all started
-
No point going to be before 11
-
I'm confident. We've let Jonno Quick go out on loan so that seals it for me.
-
He's clearly got an escape clause. his agent has tuted him around. We, possibly amongst others, have offered sufficient to trigger the clause, and agreed terms with the player. He's going. All that remains is to negotiate the payment plan with Bologna. IMO.
-
Plus £40k pw for deferrals = £59k pw, £3m pa before any other outgoings.
-
Anyone who thinks we're going to sign a host of top name PL stars in our first year is bonkers. Wolves are tunring down £10m & £12m offers for Jarvis and Fletcher FFS. Madness I tell you.
-
I was told that last night the ref flipped the coin for kick off and both sets of players started fighting for the 10p.
-
I'm not sure any Administrator would have that in his job description
-
Someone like Steve Fletcher you mean? Spending £15m on him would definitely have everyone on side.
-
We were right. The market was wrong. We went up. BHA didn't.

Is It The Southampton Way or the highway For Nigel Adkins?

TB could, I guess, start the season in Administration. He then has the Aug PP to distribute according to the compromise agreements reached, set a budget for new players, and pay us own fees. Once his fees are up to date Chinny can do one.
-
Yep, it won't amount to a hill of beans.
-
I'll settle for that. Not quite toast but stale, crusty, mouldy bread.
-
I do think he gets first dibs on the PP. PKF would not have taken on this basket case without an assurance of being paid. No one can afford to write off £2m. We ended up with BT because none of the big four would touch us for fear of not getting paid. Hang on in there Trev.
-
I really don't see why PKF will budge. If Chinny drops out, then the Trust may have the wherewithall to step in - and pay the fees. If not then liquidate and take the fees first. Didn't I read somewhere that the fees are covered by the FC rule?

Or Do Prado
-
Jeez, what is your problem with Cortese??
-
I don't think TB has any need to do a deal at all. Otherwise, the next football club they are Administrator for (and there will be a next one), any potential purchaser will just chop their fees at the last minute. Won't happen imo.
-
TB: "I am secured. I will get my money back" In fact, he is the only person guaranteed to get his money back.
-
Somewhat childish. Football is, no doubt, a murky world; that much is pretty clear. I'm sure we have to operate with our elbows sufficiently sharpened to achieve what we want to achieve. How would you like us to operate?
-
Which ones did we tap up? In what way were we unprofessional? Just because Saints (as always) chose to do their business in private doesn't mean they were in the wrong. Eh?
-
Although even you would have to admit that flies in the face of comments from other clubs that we've handled our deals professionally? Maybe?
-
Well I guess he feels pretty certain that Wolves are safe from the drop
