Agree. He lacks the power and pace to be a really top player imo, but is still more than competent at this level. He provided 8 goals + assists last season; I believe he's better than that and hope he shows it this year.

Cork, MS, VW, Davis, JWP (or AN Other), will all get to play a goodly number of games. It has to be incredibly strenuous to play the way we do, injuries will occur, and we have to be able to rotate the midfield or substitute tiring players with equally effective replacements. This is what squad building is all about - as opposed to buying Nigel Quashie.

According to The Mirror Al Fayed is looking to sell Fulham for. Between £150m and £200m. Obviously there's always a London Premium in the price, but it puts the Leibherr Estate investment in to perspective. I imagine they're sitting on a pretty good return whilst we're in the PL.

Aren't all clubs hit and miss when it comes to signings?

There is practically no chance of Robinson or the Council not getting their loans repaid as those sums are coming out of the next parachute payment - funds which our ethically correct neighbours knew were originally promised to the players who reached compromise agreements with the club to save them from extinction. And the new era of transparency continues with the failure to publish the agreement with Chinnery, and a squalid little under the table agreement with Robinson which our favourite investigate reporter is happy to whitewash through.
