The club have been pretty overt about the plan to buy/develop good young talent, sell them for big bucks and gradually build stronger and stronger foundations so that eventually these players stay with us. We get to see some great players, whilst seeing the club itself develop and build. I'm not hugely against that as a model.

At this stage of the window, and assuming this is true, I can't believe we'd let him go without and appropriate replacement. And whoever we buy from will be in the same boat.
