  1. The same equally applies to us.
  2. I hope Tadic plays. I don't know who that masked man was in the last two games, but it certainly wasn't Tadic.
  3. Or, may not be found guilty of doing it.
  4. Another for the lad tonight. Although currently 1-2 down at home to Brighton
  5. So we've dodged a trip to Besiktas.
  6. Surprised Claude hasn't been given many plaudits for changing things at half-time, directly resulting in the goal. If nothing else, at least he has a plan B, so that's one up on Poch already.
  7. A win, and therefore I predict this thread will not make 12 pages.

According to Physioroom.com it's a hamstring. Must be severe if an op is required.
  9. C-. See me after school
  10. Out for 7 months having done his other knee - Cartilage this time rather than ACL

  12. You're right. If England fielded a team of overage players, he probably wouldn't be Captain.
  13. Give it a rest. Our midfield last night was Reed, JWP, and Højbjerg. Average age of what, 22? And we had 57% possession. They all played their part.
  14. I predict we won't win again next year from June to mid-August.

  16. He did not play for the mighty Gulls. He was a ****ing Grecian!

Sadly I fear he'll never be the player he was for us

There's a lot more going on than 4-3-3. Often you can only see it at live games, so for those who watch on tv (not a criticism) it's hard to see what position players are adopting when the ball is on the other side etc etc. The pattern of our play is definitely progressing. As has been shown already, we will dominate all but a few games this season - arguably we dominated at Old Trafford, and if we improve our goals to chances ration, we will finish top8 for definite, maybe 6th again. What I like is that even when we make wholesale changes to the team, positionaly everyone knows what is expected of them. Puel is a good coach. We're organised, efficient, and Boufal perhaps will provide the spark ( I think Redmond has what it takes too).
  19. According to physioroom.com, due back 25/09.

Different player, in different positions, asked to do different things. Why the need to slate one player in favour of another. We had four Academy Graduates on the pitch last night, against a team of pretty senior Pros, and they all did well. Celebrate that. The last couple of games has seen JWP get a bit more physical imo. I was pleased to see the way he reacted to that Sparta guy who left his foot in, and last night he had a couple of spikey challenges too. Given Puel's reputation as a midfielder perhaps he's having an impact.
  21. I see Luke Shaw has come in for some direct criticism from Mourinho. Coming after Van Gaal's criticism for his fitness, it looks like we got the better end of the Shaw/Bertrand scenario, plus £20m profit. Bertrand is just as good a defender, but offers much more going forward imo. I appreciate Luke is still young and learning, but he's on big wages and so big pressure comes with that. He has to be the finished article at that price/wage - a bit like Pogba, who also doesn't look to be the finished article.
  22. The clues are all there if you look for them. Only joking, I'm sure it's all genuine.
