As always, there's some real drama queens on here. Just because we don't hear anything doesn't mean there isn't anything happening. They've had their review. My guess is that Puel is going because, if not, we would have heard about it through one of the Club's favoured channels. The rest then is about timing, discussions with prospects and their agents, and (I hope) being fair to Puel by allowing him to put feelers out for available positions. That is all

Sorry, but I don't get the Begovic love in. He's an ok keeper who has played for some bang average teams in the PL, was prepared to sit on Chelsea's bench for three years, and who has now signed for another average team. If 8th place isn't good enough for us, then signing Begovic isn't either. If he was that good he wouldn't be signing for plucky Bournemouth.

I think the clue came earlier in the season when Puel said it was difficult for Mrs P as she had no friends here and didn't speak the lingo. It'll be a mutual consent/family thing. Not that I want him to go, I think he deserves another season. But if the reports are true, that's the way the cards will fall.

In the words of Queen - I want it all, and I want it now. End of. Or, although I can't specifically recall them, I know I've walked away from pretty entertaining 0-0 draws, and pretty drab 2-0 victories. So far as this season goes, our poor finishing has left a sour taste. The odd goal here or there would have transformed the season and peoples view of the way we have played. Apart from showing the top teams too much respect, I think we've played good passing football. There's been good movement, and plenty of chances created.

And so it begins. Where did it all go wrong........
