Cabbage Face?

It looks like it could be 3 at the back, with Bertie’s the left of Stephens Hoedt and him? Or Stephens at Right back?
-
That’s not a question.

Jannik Vestergaard - Official: Signs for Leicester

All part of the master plan........to turn us in to Stoke -
Maybe Carillo leaving does give him a chance??
-
I shall follow his career wiht interest. Still a Saint. Come on Guido, tear up La Liga!
-
It’’s been this way since 1992
-
That's not how it works though, is it? Some one as good as, or better than them, would only sign with the promise of playing regularly, which means Cedric or Bertie are off. In practice you grow their replacements, or purchase a good young un, or a Pied (Martina) go pro/adequate cover type.
-
No one on here has ever heard of him I suspect. Apart from Heisenberg, who watches a lot of German football
-
We will not be signing Jack Wilshere. HTH Mind you I said the same about Mark Hughes as manager
-
Yep. Imagine the furore on here is was a Birmingham player and we were interested in buying him? I like the fact that we give players time to develop, but at 23 I fear it aint going to happen for him (or Reed).
-
I seriously doubt we paid, or will pay the whole £19m. For starters I’m guessing he hasn’t hit any goal scoring, or appearances benchmarks.
-
Looks like they’re playing for a nil-nil draw just like all the rest
-
As clearly demonstrated in England's win against Panama and the France v Argentina game and about 15 others.
-
Agreed. Apart from a couple of wonder goals (1 per season) he has been Sofiane Awful. Undoubtedly has bags of talent, but his application is poor, and his attitude has been worse on occasion. We needed him to step up last year, and he behaved disgracefully. If we let him go cheap, we'll undoubtedly have a significant sell-on clause inserted, but his time here will always weigh heavy on his price I fear.
-
Do you not think the club was pitched globally? And what is the basis for your assertion that we would get more commercial revenue from a Japanese owner?
-
I thought the gist of Hughes’s comment was that Moi isn’t a direct replacement as he has a different skill set.
-
As a wing-back, I think I prefer McQueen, but I think many of us forget that Targett is still only 22. He will never has pace to burn, but I venture to suggest that if we were touted as buying a highly rated left-back from the promoted Fulham team, most on here would be pleased.
-
I suspect we’ll let him go for a couple of ships biscuits and £2.5m on the never never. He’ll get a three year contract and support to do his coaching badges, taking over from Stevie G when he falls on his ar5e (again).
-
Whatever the cognoscenti on here think, I remember the whole defence growing a couple of inches in stature that first game back from injury. They believed in him, that much is clear to me. That is not to say he didn’t suffered a crisis of confidence last season, but he was very good for us at times whatever his ability as a goalkeeper.
-
Because there isn’t a buy out clause
-
Yeah, I know. He’s 20 and hasn’t kicked on at all FFS. I dint exoect him to be a regular starter, but I do expect him to fill the hole left by Boufal (when he eventually leaves), and get more game time.
