Poor for Spurs. Poor for Wolves.
-
I find it strange we let him go without even trying him at centre back.
-
There’s fewer than a thousand tickets left. It will be a sell out, or close to it.
-
I don’t think he’ll leave out JWP.
-
Of course it was a pass.
-
Apart from the pass for Redmonds goal of course.
-
I thought JWP did ok. Redmond was a threat the whole game, more so than Ings or Adams.

A good 3 points. Still not sure we have the players for RH’s 4222. We just don’t move he ball quickly enough, even against 10 men, but perversely could also have done with someone to put their foot on the ball and take control mid-way through the 2nd half. When we did take control, we started to create more. Good to be off and running.

Apparently the fanzone was pretty popular last week.

Last year Fulham won their third game, just like Villa. Cardiff drew 2 of their first three. Wolves did ok. It really is too early to get the worry beads out.
-
They played like the away team, defending deep and relying on the fact that Everton’s powder puff attack wouldn’t penetrate, nor would their midfield have the guile required. I fear for Silva. The danger for Villa is they start to believe they’re good, and open up.

It’s clearly vitally important that we know his precise job title. Also, is he in charge of red cones, or blue cones?

Now We’ve got a player called Kevin He's sure to go to heaven Always spotless clean and neat The smoothest you can get them He's got a fur lined sheepskin jacket He’s got you in his pocket He won't even let you explain Kevin won’t let you get a game Oh our perfect Kevin What You like to do he doesn't He's Southampton’s private joy Southampton’s little golden boy I’m here all week.....

True. But we are not alone in that.

Oh how I pine for the halcyon days of Glasgow Saint and The Dell Days, whatever happened to them?

There's a couple of dilemas here. Firstly, Saints were still offering Season Tickets at £399 (and I think still are), £21 per game adn interest free payment terms available I think. The Liverpool game was. more or less, a sell out, so people are prepared to pay. The second problem is with Championship football. it is generally poor, and the defending is poor (although it does make for more exciting games). The dilema comes when you do it well, and end up being promoted. If you do it poorly, most would still be unhappy. League One football is available within local travelling distance, and will be for some time to come!
-
Perhaps he thinks £90m is better value than the £250m it would cost to buy Saints?
-
He shouldn't have many saves to make.
-
Sorry, forgot the sarcasm smilie!
-
Spurs will do well to get £11m for a crocked Vic

I really hope someone has warned Espanyol that this is a Gao inspired scam.

Does anyone suppose, just for a second, that seeing as we are still bang in the middle of the school holidays it may have an impact. I know plenty of people who have previously taken boxes/hospitality who get calls/offers. And I doubt for even a second that we are the only club to do so. This really isn’t a stick to beat the club with.
