This should be interesting

What a storm in a tea cup. Web site works itself into a lather over inacurate press report shocker.

What a storm in a team cup. Chief Exec takes an interest in team affairs shocker. Oh, and also takes an interest in promoting the product of mutli million pound investment in R & D. Get over it.

You're right, I've covered three angles of the triangle. What we're missing is the whole centre ground. Occasional posters who have a point to make, but don't want to be labled as a lovvie or a hater or a gibbering fool. We just end up with polarised views, and no rational understanding or reasoned debate. A slanging match. Ultimately tedious, as we allready know who is going to pop up and make a contribution on one side or the other, so it does become stale. Charming as SB is, or that guy with all the dots...................., you don't have to be in one camp or the other. We are all individuals.
-
Ultimately cynicism is self defeating. When every thread gets turned into an "anti-Lowe" diatribe, and every action or non-action by the club is micro-analysed for evidence of conspiracy all that remains are those who are sustained by and feed off such negativity.....or those who like a good arguement........or those who don't take it too seriously ;-)

There, that's better. Normal service resumed.

£57 - you don't expect him to pay have his name on the back do you?

I think I've spotted the flaw in the story

Nice one. Just to help you out I'll quote your original post below: HTH

Sorry to **** on your wake, but we haven't actually been relegated yet, or is it May already. I put my clocks back an hour last night, not forward 6 months.

That £2million Michael Wilde said he "could get easily"

He may well have, but it would appear to be a conditional love - not that any of us are any different. Its all about degrees of commitment. You clearly have a genuine love for the club, but would you hand over your salary cheque each month to save it? We are clearly in the do-do. This type of meandering nonsense regurgitating third hand accounts really doesn't prove anything more than we already know. -
You're assuming: 1. He is calling the shots rather than the Bank. 2. He hasn't tried to shift some of the others - or at leats those that would make a difference to running costs.
-
That presumes he had it in the first place
-
Two things: 1. I thought Rupes was picking the teams so Rudi wouldn't get a game, and DMG had to start? 2. Clearly Perry/Wotton can't play every game week in week out.
-
He was decent, and their best player. Without him they are doomed - thankfully. We could use his experience at this level, but Sheff U are better funded atm.

What is the point of yet another sniping thread repeating all the same old arguements.
-
It probably won't make anyone feel any better, but when Pompey were in this position they were getting gates of 6000.

Two words, **** off. A Moronic Sheep (and proud of it)

Can you be more specific?

I'm with Sid. It is what it is. You can sit and wring your hands, or accept life's a ***** and get on with things.

Seek, and ye shall find! (Applies to us both BTW)

Call me a masochist, or a Lowe lovvie or whatever, I don't care. I enjoyed the day yesterday. Going to the stadium (I'm double mad - I cycled form Locks heath and back!). Great stadium, fantastic weather, and a team trying their hearts out. Yes, I'd have loved them to win, and yes I was frustrated at some of the play, but in general I enjoyed the passing and inter-play. It's clear we lack experience, but how the **** do you get experience without playing? Yes Pekhert has the touch of a 9lb sledgehammer, but then again so did Kenwyn at first. Mills got caught in possession once or twice, but Jamal C-R ripped us to shreds at their place last year - he didn't do that to Fish. Gillett did ok against Howard (a very good player at this level), and Surman pushed on well. I agree BWP was pretty poor apart from his shot in the opening minutes. Perry was outstanding for me. Personally I think we'll do better at home against footballing teams, and away from home against the cloggers. I do beleive this is a team which will get better with games - at least I hope so, and if not I'd still rather support than snipe. Whatever the season brings, the world won't end in May.

Who is faster at going down USAIN BOLT or SAINTS

What did you think of the game? -
Far too sensible. Given our state, a draw against one of the fancied teams should be seen as a big plus. The boys will have edged further along the learning curve. Three points on Saturday and the world will seem a different place.
