  1. This has a way to run, in my view. Andy Android has questioned whether HMRC can add on the image rights £15m, which potentially gives HMRC suffcient power to block the CVA - particularly when you discount interested parties. If AA seeks a ruling in the courts, then expect HMRC to challenge a good deal of the other debts which appeared post the SoA. HMRC have never backed a CVA because of the Football Creditors rule. Plenty of pages left in this old dog yet.
  2. So, Marcus wasn't at the game, AND he wasn't happy. You can make any story you want fit around those two facts.
  3. I fully expect there to be a Bored(sic) meeting on Wednesday. I fully expect it to cover: * A review of the season. * Discussion on Retained List * Agreement of Player budgets and transfer budgets * Pre-Season Planning * Off Field Closed Season plans * What hotels Pards/NC will stay in whilst in South Africa Scouting Messi, Xavi, etc etc. Then Pards and the Players have a month off to watch the world cup
  4. If you're around montjuiic, then make it in the evening so the missus can see the magic fountain. Have lunch in the restaurant at the top (not the one in the middle!) of Corte Des Ingles department store in Place de Catalunya - you have to eat anyway, and it's worth the premium on the food for the view. The tour busses are good value, but also you can buy a mutlitrip ticket on the metro. Only buy one, and share it between you. Beware though the gippos around the ticket machines - invariably kids - I went to Barca twice last year, and was pick-pocketed twice; they're very very good at it. Oh, and have breakfast in the market about half way down the Ramblas - right hand side as you go down.
  5. So, HMRC have said AA can work up a CVA proposal, to be put to the creditors in 10 days time. If the CVAis not agreed, AA suggests liquidation of PCFC HMRC now have, we believe, sufficient voting power to block said CVA. HMRC have always, in the past, voted against CVAs becuase of the football creditors rule. The football creditors rule is still in place. Too simple?
  6. If it was a racehorse, it would have been shot by now. Or toasted.
  7. Numpty Adam doesn't even know what his weener's for yet.
  8. Lots of reasons: *Its a lot more difficult than you'd think to Murder someone. *Bloody Doctors *People are getting better at making it look like an accident *Midsummer's population is nolonger sustainable
  9. Aren't debts to connected parties disallowed when it comes to CVA voting?
  10. Anyone who doesn't see this as part of the march towards Premier A and Premier B is blind. Within 7 years the 20 premier league clubs and 16 CCC clubs receiuving some form of parachute payment break way to be PLA and PLB, two leagues of 18 which is what UEFA want.

Runaraaaaaahnd. It should make them fit, if not particularly skillful.
  12. If the debts are currently £100m, how is that made up?
  13. The CVA is not the end, merely the beginning of the end. Assuming the CVA is agreed, and no HMRC challenge (they have reserved that right), popey still have to find around £30m for the unsecured creditors, and meet the remaining football debts, and repay Chainrai, and continue to meet their obligations whilst inside the CVA. If they fial to meet the terms of the CVA they can be wound up in any event. There's still a good deal of mystery here. How has the debt risen to £100m. Is gheydamack secured, or unsecured (I'm guessing unsecured if HMRC are unable to block the CVA). If he's unsecured, but owns the land surrounding FP how does that help them in the long run. Is Chennery secured? Will he take possession of FP and charge them a rent, which they can't afford? Lots more fun to come.

  19. I'm sure this is what he meant to say. He's now admitting he knew it was Daddy's money - I'm sure he will be able to show how he shared those suspicions with the PL. He's complicit in everything that happened down there, and will be joining them in the toaster. Unless, of course, he's prepared to risk upsetting the gangsters by turning Queen's evidence - he knows where the bodies are burried, that's f'sure.
  20. Sorry, I just can believe what a ridiculously large number that is, 20,000 fans.
  21. Well, lets see if Jaw Jaw is replaced with something more substantial. This has all the hallmarks of at least a couple of our suiters over the last couple of years. Oh, and Property Developer + US Hedge Fund does not equal football philanthropist.
  22. Oh Come on. If something is too good to be true????? Why would they spunk their millions on Pompey, and not Newcastle? Why not buy Palace for half the debt burden? Am I the only one thinking the "no roof" reference means who ever covered the Milton End hasn't been paid yet?
  23. Normally Rod Liddle is a c*ck, but he makes a few fair points in this piece.
  24. Should we read anything into the fact they've allowed the whole afternoon for it? Don't really understand why it's on there. He will be listed as a creditor in the Administration? Unless he's going to Court to prove the debt, so as he can be included???
  25. Just done the BBC predictor thingy. We win all our remaining games and come 3rd on goal difference. True.
