I think he'll run the club so we dont go into administration. Whether we have to sell or not depends on how many turn up to the games. Blaming Rupert and not going doesnt wash anymore.
I dont know where to start with the misconceptions, hoary old myths and downright untruths - so I wont. Basically you dont go because you live too far away like Hacienda -thats fine. Just dont wrap it up in blanket of pseudo principals rather than practicality - that just makes you look slimy.
Lets not knock Pearson. He did okay taking over someone else's failing team. He may well prove to be a good manager - but I'd still much rather have JP.
With the resources he had GB did okay getting us to the playoffs in 2006/07 and massively underperformed last season. I say that as one of the people who, at the time, wanted him to stay.
I'm not against the takeover per se, but the idea of being taken over by people who think its a good idea to install Shearer as manager fills me with dread.
Its not either or though - its both! Can't argue with that in a long season when we're bound to get injuries and exhaustion with games so close together.
On another thread someone was marvelling about the team and performance and topped it off by saying he won't visit St Mary's whilst Lowe is in charge. This is Lowe's choice of manager playing the products of the academy Lowe set up.
Whatever anyones thoughts about the past its time to get behind the club. If we dont regularly achieve attendances of 23,000 or more this season we can kiss this team and manager goodbye.
