  1. Oh dear Wes. If only you had half the brains you like to think you have .
  2. I wish we could get more for him, but I think even £3m is on the high side. Surman is a CCC player unproven at prem standard.
  3. People would be more likely to go if we scored a few more goals and conceded a few less. I'm not sure that who exactly achieves that is the critical point. Neither Rasiak or Saga have been on fire whilst they've been away.
  4. If you cant see that that the fundamental critical difference is that Tottenham have an experienced premier standard £100m squad and we have a bunch a youngsters learning their trade then there is really no hope.
  5. Its funny /tragic to see that many of those calling for JP's head are the same posters who called for Burley's head, Lowe, Wilde, Crouch and McMenemy and also didnt want Pearson appointed. This is just another episode in the 'long on complaints, short on solutions' *****fest. IMO for what its worth JP has done a pretty good job with largely last seasons reserves and youth players. Even if we just stay where we are (and I reckon we'll get midtable) it will be better than Pearson achieved with much more resource - and no that isnt a pop at Pearson who I thought did an alright job.
  6. Davis had some howlers last season so for most of us its difficult to see him as an England player. Based solely on this seasons performances tho, sure he's as good as anyone at the moment.
  7. Sorry to throw a spanner in the calculations, but if its a cold day I'll be having hot chocolate, not coke.
  8. Its already happened. They usually do one a year after a London game - usually a very good turnout of players. Good night out if you can make it to one. http://www.londonsaints.com/moxie/newsslug/the-kids-are-coming.shtml
  9. I think its slightly worse than 50% - 45% to each team with 10% to the shared pool.
  10. Yeah sorry, best Google could do......:smt053
  11. Yes. Getting the money in place is a pretty fundamental foundation. It would have been nice if he did that first, before launching the "I'm coming to the rescue, off the record of course ho ho" spiel of the past months.
  12. Saints young players are learning and getting better. Narrow loss against clear leaders today. We'll be mid table by season's end.
  13. Negative fans aren't killing the club, but they are strangling this board.
  14. So in summary it seems like we ran the leaders close in a good match, team did well but we still need a finisher, and Alpine is moaning about the club and sniping at the posters who dared to enjoy the day. Quelle suprise.
  15. Ooh gripping. A contest as to who can be bothered to run a key stroke program on their computer for longest. Will it be a tongue chewer from the South or a sweaty Lennon hater. Tune in soon for another gripping episode ...zzzzzzzzz
  16. Goes for me too. Pre season I thought we'd see lots of high scoring games from this team - both wins and losses. Team is mostly good but really need to find a regular finisher, or work out how to make one.
  17. I wish we were winning.
  18. Yep. Creating chances and the build up play we're usually okay at. We dont need Skacel and Euell back for build up -its cutting edge we need.
  19. Oh dear. Things are bad. Grandad is saying cool.
  20. Coventry unruffled by the breeze.
  21. You clearly have a superior knowledge of tactics and all the behind the scenes information that goes into selecting a team. I believe you should have the job and be able to mail in your selections weekly. Thank you.
  22. I'm still at work with no sound, appreciate it.
  23. Odd that you decided that on the boycott once it was clear it was going to be a tough long season results wise and you didnt make your, erm, 'principled' stand against RL when he returned. Like Hacienda you dont want to make a long trip when we're not winning. Be man enough to admit it.
