Are you the 'Peoples Popular Front for the Liberation of Judea' or 'The Judean Popular Peoples Liberation Front'?
-
Agree with all of that.

"to explore exciting new opportunities" "taking a well earned break"
-
Thats one hell of a piercing.
-
Thats a disgrace. How low our has club sunk.
-
I would guess is that, if it came to it, it the intention would be to go into administration 5 minutes before we are mathematically relegated - thereby avoiding the FA sanctions for the following season.
-
You would expect them to stuff Lewes and Aldershot - but not Reading, QPR, Crystal Palace, which they've also been doing. IMO opinion they are performing better than the first team. Is Wotte a better manager coach than JP?
-
I know the first team arent doing well and were in the doodoo. There are lots of things which arent going well and fans have every right to peed off about - but the reserves performance isnt one of them. I think the more interesting question is why are the reserves at the top of the table and the first team near the bottom? What is making our resrves better than Readings, even tho the first team is miles behind them?
-
What did you expect to find on a thread about the reserves?
-
Anyway, top of the ressies table, ahead of Reading, QPR etc. Please dont let that stop anyone having a pop at the club because they dared to lose a match by a single goal.

No hes not. He's one of those who wants to point the finger at others whilst staying away. Is fine to not go if you dont want, but dont pretend the decline in the club is nothing to do with the decline in attendances.

Drama queen to the last.
-
I checked -you're right. I dont know why I thought they were French.
-
Dont even mention Brighton or Wimbledon.

No-one is saying that SMS will be sold and demolished if we go into administration, in fact its unlikely. However the consequences of it happening would be so huge for the club no-one should be thinking admin is the way to go.
-
Norwich Union were based in Norwich and employed thousands there. Now they are owned by Aviva who are based in France and who wouldnt give a **** about selling SMS if the alternative was to take a massive hit.

http://www.thefa.com/Features/EnglishDomestic/Postings/2003/06/51480.htm "My duty is not to protect the football club. I am a football fan, but I have to be independent. I have a duty to get the best possible deal for all of the creditors. That would normally be done through selling the club as a going concern. But it may be that the ground or some other asset at the club is particularly valuable. The worst case scenario would be for somebody to buy the assets to break the club up, for example to develop the ground into a housing estate. We would do our best to make sure that does not happen, but it is always a possibility."
-
Too true. Anyone who thinks Aviva will let a 35 acre city centre site go for a pittance is dreaming. If they dont get reasonable offers they will clear the site and sell it, possibly in a few years when the housing market recovers.

Post 162 on the Saints v Donny post match thread
buctootim replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
Thats Dan Williams IMO. Whatever people say about him he did have a passing interest in buying Saints. Whether he could not get the money together, didnt like the finances of the club, or Lowe wouldnt sell - who knows. -
Were not down yet by a long way. Were on a knife edge for sure, but there are 18 matches and 54 points at stake for the rest of the season and the 8 nearest clubs above us are within 6 points. Notts Forest, who were really struggling with a young team like ours are currently top of the table on the form of their past 6 games. However throw in a bit of chanting, demos and crowd trouble and Im sure we can tip the balance.
-
Sure I'm up for it. Never say no to a spirited debate and a pint! Currently I'm a bit of a shallow fan since I live in Brighton, am separated and have two young kids to look after at weekends. Might be able to make Swansea. Slightly off topic, but my uncle used to distribute newspapers in West Belfast. Gerry Adams was his paper boy at one stage.

Mandela, like the IRA achieved nothing through violence except waste 30 years, as he and they fully recognised. It was his appeal for unity and generosity to his oppressors that made him the victor he was / is.

Very true. Alpine is calling for another Krystal Nacht - how appropriate. Either he doesnt know it involved brutalising innocent people or his views are to the right of Stanley.

You drop your 'H's. How common.
