Agree with this. Washington is around 4 hours on the train - about $100 if booked in advance. Train also stops in Baltimore and Philadelphia. This place in upstate NY is also good for a change of scene. http://www.mohonk.com/

There is a revolving bar on the 40th(?) floor of the Marriot Hotel in Times Square. Good c oc ktails and great view of whole city. Would think it would be better known but Ive taken a few NY residents there who havent known about it.

I agree that acidification is a slow process - decades through to centuries, but equally the natural processes to reverse it will take hundreds to thousands of years. The research outlined in your link above was primarily on species higher up the food chain like cod - which as far as I know, nobody is claiming will be affected yet. The effects will be felt first at the bottom of the food chain - the building blocks many other species depend upon. This is a very good FAQ link http://www.whoi.edu/OCB-OA/FAQs/

How close to SMS do you have to live in order for your opinion to be valid? Maybe only if you are born and still live within the sound of St Mary's church bells? That must be - ooh - 200 people? I live in Sussex, have young kids and only see around 6 games a year. I dont comment on performances from games I havent seen, but maybe I'm not qualified to have an opinion on anything else either.

Fell three stories down a lift shaft aged 80 and only broke his ankles. Amazing driver in his time. Saw him at Goodwood recently and he still had it then. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8555609.stm

The UK is as far north as Nova Scotia in Canada. Its only the gulf stream which keeps us from freezing our arses off. It is a real issue.

Nice attempt at rabble rousing let down only by the fact it isnt true.

People could write and ask if he is about to have the same kind of former relationship with his professional firm as Jacobs has with Fuglers. a.andronikou@uhy-uk.com

The often ignored consequence of putting more and more carbon into the atmosphere is ocean acidification. Half of CO2 is dissolved into the oceans, forming carbonic acid. As the oceans get more acidic it becomes impossible for many creatures which require calcium carbonate to form shells. Whilst you may not care about this small and mostly uninteresting creatures, they form the food sourcefor the things most people do care about. Since 1 billion people worldwide depend on the oceans for their primary source of protein and 200 million livelihoods depend on fishing, this alone, disregarding climate change, is enough reason to radically reduce emissions. People may disagree about the exact outcomes of climate change, but ocean acidification is linear - the more carbon in the atmosphere then the more acidic the oceans. http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2009/dec/10/ocean-acidification-epoca Also this work comes from a separate discipline, Marine Biologists, not climate scientists, so the 'having an agenda' argument doesnt wash.

Its a bit like protesting about a car crash though isnt it. When RL was around lots of people thought Saints had better options, rightly if luckily as it turned out. I think the blue few genuinely fear no one would be mad enough to take them on now.

I dont think they should be viewed in the same way as if they were 20 or 40 at the time. They were 10 years old - if they had committed the crime 6 months earlier they would have been beneath the age of criminal responsibility and totally free long ago. Really what are you going to to do with a 8, 9 or 10 yeard old who commits such a crime - keep them in prison for 70 years at a cost of £37,000pa or try and find a way to rehabilitate them?

Thats true. Unfortunately we have mongs on both sides. Billionaire and gun running fraudster owners come and go. The test of fans is not only who sticks around when times are bad but also who can refrain from bigging themselves up when good fortune like a clean welathy owner comes their way. I live in Brighton and went past the new stadium yesterday. Brighton have endured 15 years of ****e since losing their ground - even sharing with Gillingham of all places - but the corner is eventually being turned and Im delighted for them.

Alpine is on-line. The fun of following Saints on here nearly always spirals down when he is posting.

Take off one of our two most prolific scorers and bring the barn door expert on. Good plan.

Yep. Those 1-1 at half time in an end of season 'can we make the playoffs' games always are.

Barber of Seville. The family section were fine but the Northam struggled with the soprano parts.

Mebbe. But I still think I'd rather be the bloke in good health who ****ging Lucy Pinder soon and still be up for others after, than the one who is terminally ill but gets to **** Kylie once before he dies.

I dont disagree that the FA Cup is the better trophy -of course it is. The real question is whether you'd rather be in Pompey's position overall and in the FA Cup semis - or our position overall and in the JPT Final. Thats an easy one.
