The players are no more liable, but no more special or deserving either. They should stand in the creditors line along with the schools, HMRC and everybody else.
The eurozone covers too many countries with very different economies. If it was just, say - UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark I could see a lot of sense in it.
Dont know about healing blisters, but wear two pairs of thin, finely woven cotton socks to avoid getting them. If you only wear one pair the sock rubs on your skin as you walk. Wear two pairs and the inner one will stay stuck to your foot whilst the outer one will move with the boot and chafe against the innner sock, not your foot.
Sell it and buy something like this. Surprising how many low mileage cars less than 10 years old you can get for under £1,000 if you dont mind boring or unfashionable.

In almost every player of the season poll either the top goalscorer or the goalkeeper predictably come out on top.
Got to admit though its hard to argue against RL this season.
Nah. Parliament is supposed to represent the views of the people, not 30% of them - otherwise its not democracy - its dictatorship by the minority. All parties should have a number of MPs roughly equivalent to the number of votes they get.
Agree. Personally I think security at airports is the biggest example of this. I was security checked and frisked three times at Heathrow the other week (British white male in his 40s). 100 of millions of people are inconvenienced at a cost of billions each year in a (probably vain) attempt to head off plane bombings.
Atlanta in the US has one of the highest murder rates. There was criticism when the Olympics was held there because it was felt to be unsafe for athletes and visitors. The Mayor of Atlanta famously gave a tv interview in which he said reassuringly "most people who come to Atlanta hardly ever get murdered"
AA wants the CVA payments spread over 4-5 years exactly because he wants to use the parachute payments to pay off creditors. There will be bugger all left for Lloyd get his hands on.
The murder rate last year was the lowest for 20 years - nearly 40% lower than in 2001.
I wonder why that that is. You'd expect the murder rate to be fairly stable from year to year.
