Thats my understanding too. In that case I cant understand, since the administrator is duty bound to act in the best interest of all the creditors, how he can choose to pay off one set and give the finger to the rest - the majority.

Dont bother with real story guys -you swallow the Tory party spin on Camerons embarrassment by pretending it was a Labour setup. Ironically, it later emerged that Mr Bartley – the co-director of the Christian thinktank Ekklesia – had been invited to meet Mr Cameron by a Tory party official who approached him as he waited to take his son to a hospital appointment. Nor can Mr Bartley be described as hostile to the Tory cause: he was part of John Major’s team during his battle with John Redwood for the Conservative leadership in 1995. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/politics/article7109763.ece

Thats the unintended consequence of a rushed and poorly draughted law.

Less bigotted imo. Its unfortunate that immigration control cant be discussed without accusations of racism, when it is a real issue for an overcrowded island in a recession.

Deliberate use of the background or just fashioning?

Things are looking up for the Tories if the Guardian are to be believed

I'd be delighted with a coalition which delivers PR, then collapses and we have a new election under PR. Im so sick of the two party system. Basically everyone knows that Labour is tired and jaded and the Tories are the weakest (talent and ideas wise) they've been for generations, except possibly the Major government. Its Hobsons choice. -

So if no party has a majority in parliament Labour will be invited to try to form a government, even if the Tories have a larger number of seats? Interesting. -
I think I might take your narrow boat. Im sure you've had it more than five years.

Anyone know if the Queen must invite the leader of the party with the greatest number of seats to form a government, even if they are a minority in parliament with only a few more seats than others? Could she choose two parties who have publicly agreed to work together? -

And the price of nationlist support will be - erm more money from England for Scotland, Wales and NI. Go Cameron! Loved the unintended irony of this comment after the Mail article. Dozy **** wouldnt be allowed to live in Pas de Calais if it wasnt for the EU. "A vote for UKIP is support for Labour and Liberals who signed and supported the Lisbon treaty. Do you want more power given to these Euro fanatics. I find it incrediblle that UKIP wish to support indirectly these parties." - K Martin, Pas de Calais, 28/4/2010 19:08 -

Big reaction over very little. He met some old bat, said something mild about her as he drove off. So? You guys are really sucking up the media froth of reporting a small time incident as if it were nationally important. 'How easy to manipulate and gullible are the electorate' is the real story.

AA just doesnt sound very bright or on top of his brief. Lucius Pett their operations directors seems a bit more plugged in.

If you want to make a sizable hole in the deficit there needs to be big cuts in the main spenders - pensions, health and social welfare. Whatever any government does, its going to be unpopular. http://www.ukpublicspending.co.uk/government_expenditure.html#ukgs30250

We got £1.5m for an injured player who has only played two games in two years for his new club plus another 12 loaned out games. Having to pay Pulis Jnr c£80,000pa for two years to do nothing in return is still good business.

Yep. All depends on whether Lloyds Bank go for maximum price or accept less from fans. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/banksandfinance/7632510/Lloyds-could-sell-Crystal-Palaces-football-ground-to-developers.html

How many are changing their vote from last time?

Rock solid tory seat here - around 50% of vote in previous elections. I'll probably vote LD even though it wont make a difference. -
